Agreement to Grant a Water Supply Easement in Favour of William Henry Alexander Marshall, of Lyttelton, Butcher, Over Land in Block II, Sumner Survey District, Held for Post Office Purposes (V.H.F. Station), Assented To

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the 16th day of June 1964, published in Gazette, 9 July 1964, No. 42, page 1117, the land described in the Schedule hereto was taken for post office purposes (V.H.F. Station); and whereas William Henry Alexander Marshall, of Lyttelton, butcher, is entitled to receive compensation in respect of his freehold interest in the said land; and whereas the Minister of Works has agreed to grant to the said William Henry Alexander Marshall an easement to take water from the wells on the land so taken and to convey water over the piece of land secondly described in the Schedule hereto, and in addition to the payment of a sum of money in full satisfaction of the compensation aforesaid; and whereas the said William Henry Alexander Marshall has agreed to accept such grant of easement and sum of money in full satisfaction of the said compensation; now, therefore, the Minister of Works hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.
