PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets
apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori
reservation for the purpose of a meeting place and community centre for the common use and benefit of the Maori
race generally.

Notice of Intention to Issue a Proclamation Closing Roads and Vesting Land in the Districts of Collingwood Suburban and Milnthorpe Suburban
in Her Majesty the Queen as Crown Land Subject to the Land Act 1948

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

PURSUANT to section 19 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1962 and section 9 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1964, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby give notice that it is my intention, after the expiration of three months from the date hereof, to issue a Proclamation closing the roads described in the First Schedule hereto and declaring the lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto to be vested in Her Majesty as Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
Plans showing these lands are deposited in the office of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Nelson, and the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, where they may be inspected during office hours free of charge.
Any objections to the proposal either in general terms or by the registered proprietor or licensee or any other person having any estate or interest in the lands specified in the Second Schedule hereto are to be made in writing addressed to the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Nelson, on or before the 22nd day of July 1965.

FIRST SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—DISTRICTS OF COLLINGWOOD SUBURBAN AND MILNTHORPE SUBURBAN
Roads to be Closed and Vested in Her Majesty

FIRSTLY, total area of roads to be closed and vested in Her Majesty: 23 acres 2 roods 15 perches, being roads adjoining or passing through Sections 101, 104 to 139 (inclusive), 144, 156 to 165 (inclusive), and 207 to 210 (inclusive), District of Collingwood Suburban, situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Pakawau Survey District.
Secondly, total area of roads to be closed and vested in Her Majesty: 9 acres, being roads adjoining or passing through part Sections 145 to 155 (inclusive), and part Section 211, District of Collingwood Suburban, Sections 23 to 26 (inclusive), 28 to 30 (inclusive), and part Section 38, District of Milnthorpe Suburban, situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Pakawau Survey District.
Thirdly, total area of roads to be closed and vested in Her Majesty: 9 acres 1 rood 10 perches, being roads adjoining or passing through Sections 210, 212, 214 to 220 (inclusive), and part Sections 211 and 213, District of Collingwood Suburban, situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Pakawau Survey District, and Block IV, Aorere Survey District.
Fourthly, total area of roads to be closed and vested in Her Majesty: 1 acre 3 roods 36 perches, being roads adjoining or passing through Section 210 and part Sections 211 and 213, District of Collingwood Suburban, and part Section 38, District of Milnthorpe Suburban, situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Pakawau Survey District.
All as shown on the plan marked L. and S. 22/5163B deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington and thereon coloured green.
