PURSUANT to section 16 of the New Zealand Army Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following appointments, promotions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Army:

ROYAL N.Z. ARMOURED CORPS

Regular Force
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) Eruini Taharua Te Moananui, from the 2nd Armoured Squadron (Waikato), RNZAC, is granted a short-service commission for a period of one year in the rank of Captain. Dated 31 March 1965.

Territorial Force
2nd Armoured Squadron (Waikato), RNZAC
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) E. T. Te Moananui is transferred to the Regular Force on being granted a short-service commission. Dated 31 March 1965.
2nd Lieutenant L. G. Downs to be Lieutenant. Dated 20 March 1965.

2nd Reconnaissance Squadron (N.Z. Scottish), RNZAC
Captain (temp. Major) Arthur John Cockcroft relinquishes the appointment of O.C. and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal N.Z. Armoured Corps, in the rank of Major. Dated 1 April 1965.

Robert Cyril Wrighton, B.A., late 2nd Lieutenant (on prob.), N.Z. Cadet Corps, is granted a short-service commission for a period of three years in the rank of Lieutenant with seniority from 1 June 1961 next below Lieutenant and Quartermaster A. S. Green, RNZEME. Dated 2 April 1965.
