And whereas it is the intention of the Hastings City Council
to acquire land within the City of Hastings for housing
purposes, now therefore notice is hereby given that the
Hastings City Council proposes under the aforesaid provisions
and other provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954,
and under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, and
all other acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, to take
for housing purposes the land described in the Schedule hereto,
and notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so
required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the
Town Clerk for the said council at Hastings Street, Hastings,
and are there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons
during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the
execution of the said public works or by the taking of such
lands who have any objections to the execution of the said
public works or to the taking of the said lands, not being an
objection to the amount or payment of compensation, are
hereby called upon to set forth the same in writing and to
send such writing within 40 days from the first publication
of this notice to the Hastings City Council addressed to the
Town Clerk at his said office.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land situate in Irongate Road, in the City
of Hastings, containing sixty-two acres twenty-nine perches
(62 acs. 29 pch.), more or less, being part Lot Number 2, on
Deposited Plan Number 2800, and part of the land in certificate
of title, H.B. Volume 27, folio 124.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Horowhenua require to take
the lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto.
The lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required
for the purpose of a public work, namely, for a road. The
lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are required
for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road and for
that purpose are required to be vested in the Chairman,
Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Horowhenua,
notice is hereby given that a plan of the said lands is
open for inspection at the offices of the Horowhenua County
Council, Bath Street, Levin.

All persons affected by such taking are hereby required to
set forth in writing any objections to the execution of such
work or to the taking of such lands and to send such writing
within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice
to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Bath Street,
Levin.

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and in the
matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and in the
matter of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice
is hereby given pursuant to section 22 (1) (c) of the Public
Works Act 1928, that the Lower Hutt City Council being a
local authority within the meaning of that Act and having
a district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act
1953 operative in its district, proposes under the provisions of
the said Acts, and of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954,
and in particular by virtue of section 47 of the Town and
Country Planning Act 1953, to take the lands described in the

In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and Amend-
ment Act 1924, the Public Works Act 1928, and the Municipal
Corporations Act 1954 and their respective amendments,
notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council pro-
poses under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all
other acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf
to execute a certain public work, namely, in connection with
street widening at 11 Stepney Place, in the City of Wellington,
and for the purposes of that public work the land described
in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, and notice
is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to
be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town
Clerk to the said council in the Municipal Offices Building,
Mercer Street, in the said city and is there open for inspection,
without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours and
that any person affected by the execution of the said public
work or the taking of the said land should if he has any
objection to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount
or payment of compensation, send his written objection
