NELSON CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Nelson City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of Moncrieff Avenue in the City of Nelson; and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said council situate in Trafalgar Street and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution to the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street.

SOUTHLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and in the matter of a proposal by the Southland County Council to take land for roading purposes, notice is hereby given that the Southland County Council in exercise of the powers contained in sections 22 and 23 of the Public Works Act 1928, proposes to take for roading purposes land situated in the County of Southland containing two (2) acres and thirty-nine (39) poles, more or less, being part of Sections 136 and 307, Block S.O. 7355 and thereon coloured orange.

Any person having an objection to the execution of the works or to the taking of the lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, is required to lodge his objection in writing at the office of the council within forty (40) days from the date of publication hereof. A copy of the said plan is open for inspection at the office of the council, Clyde Street, Invercargill, during business hours.

CLUTHA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Clutha County Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road, and notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the land proposed to be taken is deposited in the public office of the above council, situated at Clyde Street, Balclutha, and is there open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours. Every person affected who wishes to make any objection to the taking of the said land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) must state his objection in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk, Clutha County Council, Balclutha.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 2 poles, be the same a little more or less, being part Lot thirty-nine (39), Deeds Plan 254, being also part Section three (3), Block two (II), South Molyneux Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in Dunedin Register Book, Volume 345, folio 224, as the same is more particularly delineated on S.O. Plan No. 13614, and thereon coloured orange. The parcel of land is situated on the Main Road, at Kaka Point, between the outlets of Hill Street and Rata Street.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Whangarei City Operative District Planning Scheme

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 35 (3) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, of the subject matter of an application in the City of Whangarei consented to by the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board under section 35 of the above-mentioned Act.

Applicants: R. A. and O. F. Cateley.

Terms of Consent: To permit the applicants to use portion of the premises on that parcel of land situated at 71 Tarewa Road, Whangarei, being Lot 4, on D.P. 41731, Whangarei Parish, being the basement of the said premises for the purpose of a commercial kitchen, notwithstanding that the premises are at present zoned Residential and shall remain so zoned.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change to Palmerston North District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act and regulations made thereunder, public notice is hereby given that the Palmerston North District Scheme was amended by changing the zoning of 96 College Street from Residential to Commercial “A” by resolution of council passed at its meeting held on the 22nd day of March 1965.

In accordance with the requirements of s. 28 (2) the change shall become operative on the 19th day of April 1965. Copies of the change as approved are available for inspection, without fee, at the council’s office by any person at any time when this office is open.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Amendment to Zoning of Lot 2, D.P. 25137, on the Corner of Napier Road and Brightwater Terrace to Permit the Erection of a Service Station

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of council made on 27 April 1964, the zoning of Lot 2, D.P. 25137, being also No. 34-44 Napier Road is to be changed on the Operative District Scheme to Industrial “A” zone. A plan of the amendment as recommended by council has been deposited at the Municipal Chambers, the Square, and the Public Library, and is there open for inspection, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the recommended amendments to the district scheme which the council proposes to approve, may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked “Objection to District Scheme” and lodged at the office of the council at any time not later than 9 a.m., on Monday, 3 June 1965.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Review of Horowhenua County District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given pursuant to a resolution of the council made on the 10th day of February 1965, the Waikanae, Rural, Otaki, and Levin sections of the County of Horowhenua District Scheme are under review and the council has resolved to enlarge, modify, alter, and cancel the said four operative sections and to substitute therefor, a new Reviewed District Scheme, and the council has recommended that the scheme with the changes incorporated therein be approved.
