RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Property Purchase Loan 1965, £20,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount
Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a
loan of twenty thousand pounds (£20,000) authorised to be
raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the purchase of
property as it arises and considered to be essential for council
purposes in the development of the borough and meeting
costs incidental thereto, the said Mount Roskill Borough
Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three
five three seven pence (0·03537d.) in the pound (£) on the
rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) on all rate-
able property in the Borough of Mount Roskill; and that the
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of the said loan and be paid yearly on the 1st day
of April in each and every year during the currency of the
said loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the
loan is fully paid off.”

Waterworks Loan 1965, £82,000

THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a
loan of eighty-two thousand pounds (£82,000) authorised to
be raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the cost of
the laying of new mains and replacement of hydrants within
the Borough and meeting costs incidental thereto, the said
Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby makes a special rate
of decimal one four one pence (0·1451d.) in the pound
(£) on the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value)
on all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Roskill;
and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of the said loan and be paid yearly on the
1st day of April in each and every year during the currency

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a
loan of twenty-one thousand pounds (£21,000) authorised to be
raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchase of land and
building of further pensioners’ flats in the Borough of Mount
Roskill and meeting costs incidental thereto, the said Mount
Roskill Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal nought two one three pence (0·0213d.) in the pound
(£) on the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value)
on all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Roskill; and
that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of the said loan and be paid yearly on the 1st
day of April in each and every year during the currency of
the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the
Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, and of every other power in that behalf enabling it,
the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest,
and other charges on a loan of £39,000 known as the Kings-
land Drainage Loan 1965, of £39,000 for the purpose of
providing sewer and storm water drainage in the Kingsland
area of the Borough, the Mount Albert Borough Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought two
nine nine of a penny (0·0299d.) in the pound on the basis of
the capital value of all rateable property in the Borough
of Mount Albert; and that such special rate shall be
an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan
and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable

or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Parakai Domain Development Loan 1964, £30,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waitemata County Council resolves as follows:

“That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the loan of £30,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata
County Council under the Local Bodies Loans Act 1956 for
the purpose of carrying out development works within the
Parakai Domain together with all costs incidental thereto, the
Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of
0·021d. (point nought two one pence) in the £ on the rateable
unimproved value of all rateable property within the County
of Waitemata; and further resolves that the special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
loan and repayable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 20 (twenty) years, or until the loan is fully paid off;
further, that the County Clerk be authorised to Gazette the
resolution.”
