PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is closed and shall vest in George William Craigie, of Owaka, farmer, subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 271526, Otago Land Registry; and also hereby proclaim that the road described in the Third Schedule hereto is closed and shall be incorporated in Crown Lease No. 698, Volume 388, folio 44, Otago Land Registry, held by the said George William Craigie, being registered as lessee under pastoral lease of pastoral land under the Land Act 1948, subject to the said memorandum of mortgage.
