PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of
an access way and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and
Citizens of the City of Auckland as from the date hereinafter
mentioned; and I also declare that the Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the 12th day of April 1965.
