NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a public work, namely, for housing reclamation purposes.

Every person affected should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the said work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or the payment of compensation, and to lodge the written objection at the offices of the Christchurch City Council, Manchester Street, Christchurch, within forty (40) days from the 31st March 1965, being the date of the first publication of this notice.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated in the City of Christchurch containing 28.3 perches, or thereabouts, being part Town Section 42, Town of Christchurch, and being also the balance of the land contained in Deeds Index 31D/737 A. 1242 (Canterbury Registry). A narrow strip of land off Salisbury Street known as Airedale Place, shown coloured orange on Survey Office Plan 10395.

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND STOPPING OF ROAD

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Mount Roskill Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act to execute certain public works, namely, the diversion of Halsey Drive in the Borough of Mount Roskill, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and it is necessary to stop the portions of road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Notice is further hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken and the road to be stopped is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk of the said council, situated in Mount Albert Road, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objection to the execution of the said public work, or to the taking of the said land, or to the stopping of the said street, must state their objections in writing at the office of the council aforesaid on or before the 30th day of April 1965.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL those pieces of land containing 2 roods 7-6 perches, more or less, being Part 1, 16, 17, and 37, D.P. 8985, being part Allotment 23, Section 13, Suburbs of Auckland, and part Lot 1, D.P. 38777, and part Lot 8, D.P. 12970, being part Allotment 74, Parish of Titirangi, as shown coloured sepia, blue, yellow, and red on S.O. Plan 44672.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing 3 roods 8-8 perches being lands adjoining part Lots 15, 17, and 37, and Lot 16, D.P. 8985, and part land on D.P. 8985, being part Allotment 23, Section 13, Suburbs of Auckland, and Lot 8, D.P. 12970, and Lot 1, D.P. 38777, being part Allotment 74, Parish of Titirangi, coloured green on S.O. Plan 44672.

All these lands being situated in Halsey Drive between its junction with Ridge Road and some 2 chains south of its junction with Rangitikei Crescent.

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Mount Roskill Borough District Scheme, Change No. 17 Approved

PUBLIC notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments and of the regulations made thereunder, that Change No. 17 was approved by the council at its meetings on 24 January 1965 and 9 March 1965.

No objections were lodged and council at its meeting on 9 March 1965 resolved that the Change No. 17 be incorporated in the district scheme for the Borough of Mount Roskill and determined that the change shall become operative on 31 March 1965.

A copy of the Change No. 17 as approved has been deposited in the office of the council and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when that office is open to the public.

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change of County of Taranaki District Scheme (Combined Area Section)

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the council made on the 9th day of March 1965, the council has recommended that its Operative District Scheme (Combined Area Section) be changed in respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereto. The changes of the district scheme, as now recommended by the council, have been deposited at the Taranaki County Council Office, Robe Street, New Plymouth, the District Land Registrar's Office, Powderham Street, New Plymouth, and the New Plymouth Public Library, Brougham Street, New Plymouth, for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objection to the proposed changes of the district scheme may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 or to the like effect marked "Objections to Scheme Change" and lodged at the office of the council at any time not later than the 24th day of May 1965. An appropriate form for use by objectors is available from the council offices. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the council in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

Changes to the City of Whangarei District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned changes to the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the City of Whangarei were approved by the council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 24th day of March 1965. The council has also resolved that the under-mentioned changes to the district scheme shall come into operation on the 5th day of April 1965.
