TIMARU CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Gasworks Reconstruction Loan 1964, Β£30,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the loan of Β£30,000, to be known as the Gasworks Reconstruction Loan 1964, authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the balance of the council's share of the cost of reconstructing the gasworks, the said Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and four thousandths of a penny (0.104d.) in the pound upon the ratable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Timaru City Council held on the 22nd day of March 1965.

BOROUGH OF PUKEKOHE
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and the Public Works Act 1928, and in the matter of the intention of the Pukekohe Borough Council to take certain land for the purposes of a parking place, notice is hereby given that the Pukekohe Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute certain public works, namely, the provision of a parking place in the Borough of Pukekohe, and that for the purposes of the said works the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and that a plan showing the said lands with a general description of the said works and of the said lands is deposited in the public office of the council situate in Wesley Street in the said borough and is open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that the council calls upon all persons affected to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the works or to the taking of the lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection within forty (40) days from the first publication of the notice to the council.
SCHEDULE
FIRSTLY, all that piece of land situated at Number 9 Tobin Street, in the Borough of Pukekohe, containing 13.3 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, Deposited Plan number 4688, and being part of Allotment 65, of Suburban Section 1, of the Parish of Pukekohe, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 217, folio 91, of the Register Book of the District of Auckland, as the same is more particularly delineated by the above-mentioned plan, and thereon coloured blue.
Secondly, all that piece of land situated at Number 4 Albert Street, in the said borough, containing 13.6 perches, more or less, being part Lot 24, Deposited Plan number 4216, and being part of Allotment 65, of Suburban Section 1, of the said Parish, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 148, folio 251, of the said Register Book, as the same is more particularly delineated by the above-mentioned plan, and thereon coloured yellow.

THE AUCKLAND ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland Electric-Power Board proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the erection of a major electrical substation, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto (situated at the south-western corner of Weymouth Road and Rogers Road, Manurewa), is required to be taken.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) must state their objection in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the General Manager, Auckland Electric-Power Board, Power Board Building, Queen Street, Auckland C. 1.

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District, Borough of Manurewa:
(a) Containing 1 rood and 4/10 of a perch being Lot 1, on Deposited Plan 39146, of Allotment 7, Parish of Papakura, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 1027, folio 21, North Auckland Registry, and
(b) Containing 1 rood, more or less, being part of Lot 2, on Deposited Plan 39146, of Allotment 7, Parish of Papakura, and being the land shown coloured yellow on Survey Office plan No. 44688.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public works, namely, the provision of a road being portion of Papakura - Hunua Road at Hunua, within the County of Franklin, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the clerk to the said council, situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by and who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public works or the taking of such lands, must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the 31st day of March 1965, being the day of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Tauranga County Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the land described in the Schedule hereto. A plan showing the land proposed to be taken is available for public inspection at the office of the Tauranga County Council, Barkes Corner, Cameron Road, Tauranga, during forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice. All persons having well grounded objections to the above-mentioned proposals are hereby called upon to set forth their objections in writing and to lodge the same in the office of the council on or before the 6th day of May 1965.
