WAITAKI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Duntroon Water Supply Loan 1964, £1,200
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitaki County
Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of one thousand two hundred pounds
(£1,200) authorised to be raised by the Waitaki County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
renewing and improving the Duntroon Water Supply, the said
Waitaki County Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of 5·019 pence in the pound (£) upon the rateable
value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable
property in the special rating area comprising the Duntroon
Water Supply District; and such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September during
the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20)
years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Workshop Loan 1964, £26,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitaki County
Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of twenty-six thousand pounds (£26,000)
authorised to be raised by the Waitaki County Council under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting and
equipping a workshop; the said Waitaki County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·056d. in the
pound (£) upon the rateable value on the basis of the
unimproved value of all rateable property in the county;
and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st
day of September during the currency of such loan, being
a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully
paid off."

MOUNT WELLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioner Flats (Waipuna) Loan 1964
In accordance with the provisions of section 47 of the Local
Authorities Loans Act 1956, the following resolution has been
passed by special order by my Council:

"In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Mount Wellington Borough Council hereby resolves as
follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £43,500, to be known as the Pensioner
Flats (Waipuna) Loan 1964 authorised to be raised by the
Mount Wellington Borough Council under the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of construction of pensioner flats, the
Mount Wellington Borough Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of 0·02 pence in the pound (£) upon the
rateable value of property in the Borough of Mount Welling-
ton; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring
charge during the currency of the said loan and shall be
payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day
of October in each and every year during the currency of
the said loan, for a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until
the loan is fully paid off."

GERALDINE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Municipal Offices Loan 1964, £12,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Geraldine Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £12,000 authorised to be raised by the Geraldine
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of erecting municipal offices, the said Geraldine
Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one and
seven-sixteenths pence (1⅞d.) in the pound upon the rate-
able value of all rateable property of the Borough of
Geraldine; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
half yearly on the 1st day of November and the 1st day
of May in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off."

GERALDINE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage Renewal Loan 1964, £9,200
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Geraldine Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £9,200 authorised to be raised by the Geraldine
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Sewerage
Loan No. 2, 1954, £13,000 which matures on 9 December
1964, the said Geraldine Borough Council hereby makes
a special rate of one and eleven-sixteenths pence (1⅞d.)
in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable
property of the Borough of Geraldine; and that such special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 9th day of
June and the 9th day of December in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years,
or until the loan is fully paid off."

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioner Flats Loan 1964, £70,000
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and
amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other
powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council
hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of seventy thousand pounds (£70,000) to
be known as the Pensioner Flats Loan 1964, £70,000 which
amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council
under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of erecting
accommodation for old people and the cost of raising the loan,
the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of two thirty-thirds of one penny (⅔d.) in
the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the
annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City com-
prising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the
said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st
day of June in each and every year during the currency of
the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off."

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Surrey Crescent Flats Loan 1963, £35,000
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and
amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other
powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council
hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of thirty-five thousand pounds (£35,000)
to be known as the Surrey Crescent Flats Loan 1963,
£35,000 which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland
City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the pur-
pose of erecting accommodation for old people and the cost
of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of one thirty-second of
one penny (⅛d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value
(on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property
of Auckland City comprising the whole of the City of Auck-
land; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall
be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every
year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan
is fully paid off."
