ADVERTISMENT OF PETITION

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand
Hamilton District

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of Rotorua Homes Ltd., a company duly incorporated under
the provisions of the aforesaid Act, and having its registered
office at MacLeod's The Real Estate Firm, Fenton Street,
Rotorua, notice is hereby given that a petition for the
winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme
Court was, on the 2nd day of February 1965, presented to
the said Court by Rotorua Homes Ltd., a company duly
incorporated under the provisions of the aforesaid Act,
and having its registered office at MacLeod's The Real
Estate Firm, Fenton Street, Rotorua; and that the said
petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at
the Supreme Courthouse, at Hamilton, on the 26th day of
March 1965, at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of
the said company desirous to support or oppose the making
of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of
hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a
copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to
any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring
a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Kairanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Kairanga
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for rural
housing purposes in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the
said Kairanga County Council hereby makes a special rate
of 0·0629d. in the pound on the rateable unimproved value
of all the rateable property of the County of Kairanga, com-
prising the whole of the County of Kairanga; and that the
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of the loan or until the loan is fully paid off."

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rimutaka Riding Bridges Loan 1964, £40,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt
County Council hereby resolves:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £40,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
bridge replacements in the Rimutaka Riding of the County of
Hutt, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of decimal 546 (five hundred and forty-six one
thousandths) of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved
value of all rateable property in the Rimutaka Riding of the
County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be pay-
able on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off."

RICCARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners' Cottages (Bartlett Street) Loan, of £11,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Riccarton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £11,000 authorised to be raised by the Riccarton
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for
old people, the said Riccarton Borough Council hereby
makes a special rate of (0·047d.) in the pound upon the
unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the
Borough of Riccarton; and that the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

POVERTY BAY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Poverty
Bay Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of twenty-seven thousand pounds (£27,000)
authorised to be raised by the Poverty Bay Electric Power
Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
repaying on maturity those portions of the Extensions Loan
1954, £75,000 and Extensions Loan (East Coast) 1953,
£150,000 which mature on 5 April and 14 July 1965 respec-
tively, the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board hereby makes
and levies a special rate of one seventy-seventh of a penny
(1/77d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of
the capital value) of all rateable property in that portion
of the Poverty Bay Electric Power District as is contained in
the Cook County (including the Patutahi Town District),
Waikohu County, Waiapu County, and the City of Gisborne;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until
the loan is duly paid up."

MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioner Flats Loan 1965, £60,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Manukau County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £60,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the pur-
pose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old
people within the County of Manukau, the said Manukau
County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal
nought three three two pence (0·0332d.) in the pound (£)
upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property
of the County of Manukau; and that the special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of forty (40) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I, Albert Norman Barrowcliffe, Acting County Clerk of the
Manukau County Council, hereby certify that the above
resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manukau
County Council held on the 9th day of March 1965.

MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pakuranga Town Centre Development Loan 1965, £32,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Manukau County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £32,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of constructing and laying out roading, pedestrian
malls, and parking areas for the Pakuranga Town Centre
Development within the County of Manukau, the said
Manukau County Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal nought two seven five pence (0·0275d.) in the pound
(£) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable
property of the County of Manukau; and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in
each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully
paid off."

I, Albert Norman Barrowcliffe, Acting County Clerk of the
Manukau County Council, hereby certify that the above
resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manukau
County Council held on the 9th day of March 1965.
