and Rivers Control Act 1941, to be raised by the Poverty Bay Catchment Board from the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council for the purpose of meeting portion of the Board’s share of the cost of carrying out the Opotiki Flood Control Scheme, the said Poverty Bay Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the various classes within the Opotiki Flood Control Scheme Special Rating Area as defined by the classification list and classification plans for such area prepared and adopted by the said Board for the purpose of rating for such scheme and deposited in the office of the Board; that the said special rate in the various classes according to such classification list shall be as set out in the following Schedule and that the said special rate shall be not levied until the financial year in which the final instalment in repayment of the Opotiki Flood Control Scheme Loan 1963, £20,625, is made, and shall from and including that year, be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the aforesaid loan of £5,260, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan or until the loan is fully repaid in terms of an agreement dated 19 September 1963 made in respect thereof between the said Council and the said Board.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work, namely, street development in Nelson Street in the City of Auckland, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for street purposes; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, Auckland, and it is open for public inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
Every person affected who wishes to make any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) must state his objection in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Auckland.

ALL those pieces of land containing, Firstly, 1·6 perch, more or less, being part Allotments 8 and 9, City of Auckland, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 598, folio 58, North Auckland Registry (limited as to parcels), as the same is more particularly shown on the plan recorded in the office of the Director of Works and City Engineer at the Town Hall, Auckland, under No. 10297/50 BKU/395, situated at 70 and 70B Nelson Street, Auckland, and secondly, 1 perch, more or less, being part Allotments 9 and 10, Section 38, City of Auckland, and being part of the land in certificates of title, Volume 30, folio 80, and Volume 1019, folio 175, North Auckland Registry, as the same is more particularly shown on the above-mentioned Plan No. 10297/50 BKU/395, situated at 76 Nelson Street, Auckland.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given by the Otorohanga County Council that it is proposed to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the under-mentioned pieces of land for a road; and notice is hereby given that a plan showing the said pieces of land is on view and open for inspection at the office of the Council at the address set out below during ordinary business hours; and notice is further given that all persons affected by the taking of the said pieces of land for a road who have any well grounded objections should set forth the same in writing within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk, Otorohanga County Council, Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga.

(a) 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, being part of the block situated in Block IV, Orahiri Survey District, called Otorohanga 5, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 650, folio 28 (South Auckland Registry).
(b) 2 roods 9·9 perches, more or less, being part of the block situated in Block IV, Orahiri Survey District called Otorohanga A1.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments, notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely for housing purposes at Nairn Street in the City of Wellington; and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if they have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send that writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his office.

TAUPO COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR ROAD AND TO STOP PORTIONS OF ROAD
IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Taupo County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the deviation of a public road known as Grace Road in the Turangi District in the County of Taupo, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and portions of the road being the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are required to be stopped; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken and the portions of the said road so to be stopped is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the above Council situated at 74 Lake Terrace Road, Taupo, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work, by the taking of such lands, or by stopping of the said portions of the said road who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such lands or to the stopping of the said portions of the said road (not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation) must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Taupo County Office at 74 Lake Terrace Road, Taupo.
