SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Ashburton County, containing 125,750 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of Forest Creek and the Rangitata River, Block XVI, Sinclair Survey District, and proceeding south-westerly generally up the middle of Forest Creek and its production to the summit of the Two Thumb Range; thence northerly generally along the summit of that range to the northernmost corner of Run 110B, Block IX, Torlesse Survey District; thence easterly generally along the northern boundary of Run 110B and the middle of the Forbes River to the middle of the Havelock River; thence south-easterly along the middle of that river and the middle of the main stream of the Rangitata River to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1961, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
O R D E R

On and from the 1st day of April 1964 the area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the County of Mackenzie and included in the County of Levels.

The alteration of the boundaries of the said counties hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Counties Act 1956.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Mackenzie County, containing 24 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the southern side of Elizabeth Street and the south-eastern side of Cannington Road, Block IX, Pareora Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly to and along the north-eastern side of the continuation of Cannington Road, passing through part Reserve 1896, to the south-western side of No. 8 State Highway; thence south-easterly along the said side of No. 8 State Highway to a point in line with the north-western boundary of part Reserve 5209; thence north-easterly, across No. 8 State Highway to the westernmost corner of part Reserve 5209; thence easterly generally along the northern side of No. 8 State Highway to a point in line with the eastern side of Charles Street; thence south-easterly across No. 8 State Highway to and along the eastern side of Charles Street to a point in line with the southern side of Elizabeth Street; thence westerly to and along the southern side of that street to the point of commencement.

The Allanton Rural Fire District Order 1963

PURSUANT to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
O R D E R

This order may be cited as the Allanton Rural Fire District Order 1964.
-
This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
-
The area specified in the Schedule to this order is hereby constituted and declared to be a rural fire district to be known as the Allanton Rural Fire District.
-
The trees and other plants on State forest land situated in the said area are hereby specified as the property for the protection of which this district is constituted.
-
The Allanton Rural Fire District shall, for the purposes of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1955, be administered by the Minister of Forests.
-
The period between the 1st day of October in any year and the 30th day of April in the following year is hereby specified and declared to be a closed fire season in the said district.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY
Allanton Rural Fire District
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Tairi County, containing approximately 7,730 acres and bounded generally as follows:
Commencing at Trig. E in Section 2 of 25, Block III, Otokia Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly along the north-western side of Big Stone Road to a point opposite the westernmost corner of Section 2 of 3, Block III, Otokia Survey District; thence south-easterly by a right line to the south-eastern side of Big Stone Road, along the south-western boundaries of Sections 2 of 3 and 1 of 3, Block III, Otokia Survey District, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the south-eastern side of the Tairi Mouth - Green Island Main Highway; thence generally south-westerly by the south-eastern side of the Tairi Mouth - Green Island Main Highway to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 8, Block XXVIII, part Waihola Survey District; thence north-westerly by a right line to the north-western side of the aforesaid main highway and along the southern side of Dicksons Road to the north-western corner of Section 2 of 28, Block V, Otokia Survey District; thence south-easterly by the north-western boundary of the said
