OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual loan charges on a loan of £30,000 authorised to be raised by the Otamatea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of replacing existing plant and purchasing additional plant, the said Otamatea County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal seven four five pence (0·745d.) in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Otamatea; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on 1st April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
This resolution was passed at a meeting of the Otamatea County Council held on Wednesday, 11 November 1964.

OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Ohinemuri Water Supply Loan 1964, £44,150
NOTICE is hereby given that at an ordinary meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council held on 9 December 1964, the following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ohinemuri County Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £44,150 authorised to be raised by the Ohinemuri County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending and renewing the reticulation of the Ohinemuri Water Supply in the Ohinemuri County, the said Ohinemuri County Council hereby makes a special rate of 2·381d. in the £ upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Ohinemuri Water Supply Special Rating Area in the County of Ohinemuri; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 7th day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

ASHBURTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ashburton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the Gravity Water Supplementary Loan 1964, £11,500 authorised to be raised by the Ashburton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Gravity Water Supply Loan 1962 was raised, the Ashburton Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of £·000473 in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Ashburton; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on 1 April in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

OPOTIKI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Opotiki Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £12,500 authorised to be raised by the Opotiki Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a District Library Building, the said Opotiki Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point five five pence (·55d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Opotiki; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, public notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road, for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928. A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu.
Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) and to send such written objection to the Waipa County Council, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice.
