ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Hawke's Bay County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Ngaruroro River at its confluence with the Old Bed of the Ngaruroro River (Karamu Creek) in Block XIII, Heretaunga Survey District, and proceeding southerly generally up the middle of that Old Riverbed and the middle of the Awanui Stream to the middle of Te Aute Road in Block III, Te Mata Survey District; thence south-westerly along the middle of that road and the middle of No. 2 National State Highway to its intersection with the middle of Farndon-Pakipaki Road; thence north-westerly generally along the middle of that road, the middle of Bridge Pa -Pakipaki Road and the middle of Hastings-Maraekakaho Road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 18, D.P. 10360, to and along that boundary and the north-eastern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 1876, the aforesaid Lot 18, and Lots 16 and 13, D.P. 10360, Lot 1, D.P. 2142, and Lot 1, D.P. 5164, to the southern corner of Lot 3, D.P. 2760, along the south-western boundaries of Lots 3, 2, and 1, D.P. 2760, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of No. 50 Provincial State Highway; thence north-easterly along the middle of that highway to a point in line with the northern boundary of Ngatarawa No. 1 Block; thence westerly to and along that boundary and the northern boundary of Section 5, Block XIII, Heretaunga Survey District, and its production to the middle of the Ngaruroro River; thence down the middle of that river to the point of commencement, excluding therefrom the City of Hastings, hereinbefore described.

BOUNDARIES OF PETANE RIDING OF COUNTY OF HAWKE'S BAY

ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Hawke's Bay County, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern side of the No. 2 National State Highway in line with the middle of the stopbank on the northern side of the Ahuriri Lagoon Main Outfall Channel, being also a point on the boundary of the City of Napier as described in Gazette, 1962, page 865, and proceeding across the said highway and the East Coast Main Trunk Railway, westerly and northerly along the middle of that stopbank to a point in line with the northern boundary of Wharerangi 8c 1 in Block XV, Puketapu Survey District; thence to and westerly generally along that boundary and the northern boundary of Wharerangi 8c 2a to the southernmost corner of Block 74, Western Side of Harbour Crown Grant District; thence north-westerly and north-easterly along the south-western and north-western boundaries of that block, north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, Deeds Plan 364, and its production to the middle of Seafield Road; thence south-westerly generally along the middle of that road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 8666; thence northerly to and along that boundary and the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 6541; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of that Lot 1, Lot 3, D.P. 8666, Lot 1, D.P. 884, and Deeds Plan 234, the southern boundary of Deeds Plan 653 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of Glengarry Road; thence north-westerly generally along the middle of that road to a point in line with the northern

Plan 2474; thence easterly to the said corner and generally south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of that Section 2, Sections 7, 3, and 4, all Block VIII, Pohue Survey District, including the crossing of Waitana Road, and Section 4A, Block IX, Maungaharuru Survey District; thence southerly generally along the western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 3831, including the crossing of a public road and road deviations as shown on S.O. Plan 2765; thence south-westerly and generally easterly along the north-western and southern boundaries of parts Lot 2 as shown on that S.O. plan to the south-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 9608, being also a point on the northern side of the aforementioned State Highway; thence easterly generally along the southern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 9608, Lot 1, D.P. 7837, and again Lot 1, and Lot 2, both D.P. 9608, to the south-western boundary of part Section 1, Block XIII, Maungaharuru Survey District; thence south-easterly along that boundary to a closed road as shown on S.O. Plan 2996, and along the northern side of that closed road to its southernmost point on the said S.O. Plan 2996, including the crossing of Okurakura Road; thence southerly along a right line to the northernmost point of Section 102, Block XIII, aforesaid, as shown on S.O. Plan 2618; thence southerly, easterly, and again southerly along the eastern, northern, and eastern boundaries of that section to the northern side of the Old Taupo Coach Road; thence easterly along that roadside to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of part Section 89, Block XIII, Maungaharuru Survey District; thence south-easterly across the said road to and along that boundary to the northern boundary of Block 70, Puketapu Crown Grant District; thence easterly along that boundary and the northern boundary of Section 13, Taupo Road Rural Sections, and its production to the eastern side of the said Old Taupo Coach Road; thence easterly generally along the eastern and northern sides of that road, being also the southern boundary of Section 2, Block XIII, and Section 2, Block XIV, both Maungaharuru Survey District, to a point due north of the westernmost corner of Section 6, Block III, Puketapu Survey District, as shown on S.O. Plan 1788; thence southerly across the aforementioned road to and along a public road being the western boundary of the said Section 6 and Section 1, Block II, Puketapu Survey District, and again that Section 6 to a point in line with that western boundary of the said Section 6 from Roadside Peg 11 to the Kaiwaka Stream as shown on the aforementioned S.O. Plan 1788; thence southerly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Kaiwaka Stream, down the middle of that stream, the middle of the Otakowhai Stream, and up the middle of the Esk River to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 1, Block III, Puketapu Survey District; thence easterly to and along
