Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Maungarangi Development Scheme)
PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a Proclamation dated 15 October 1952, and published in the Gazette, No. 67, Volume III, 23 October 1952, page 1730, and registered as No. S. 41359.

Classification of Roads in Waipa County
PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes so much of the Warrant dated the 8th day of June 1950† as relates to the roads described in the Schedule hereto and hereby approves the Waipa County Council’s proposed classification of the said roads as set out in the said Schedule.

Plants Declared to be Noxious Weeds in the Borough of Foxton (Notice No. Ag 8078)
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953, for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Foxton Borough Council on the 21st day of September 1964, is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Foxton Borough Council hereby resolves by way of special order, that, within the boundaries of the Borough of Foxton, the plants mentioned in the Schedule hereinafter set out be, and are hereby declared to be, noxious weeds.
SCHEDULE
Boxthorn (Lycium ferocissimum syn. Lycium horridum).
Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla).
Gorse (Ulex, any species).
Milk thistle or variegated thistle (Silybum marianum).
Nodding thistle (Carduus nutans).
Silver poplar (Populus alba var. nivea).
Star thistle (Centaurea calcitrapa).
Stinking mayweed (Anthemis cotula).
Sweetbriar (Rosa eglanteria syn. Rosa rubiginosa).
Thorn apple or jimson weed (Datura stramonium).
Viper’s bugloss (Echium vulgare).
Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes).

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Bruce (Notice No. Ag. 8079)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953, for the purposes of the said section, the following resolution passed by the Bruce County Council on the 9th day of September 1964, is hereby published.
RESOLUTION
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Bruce County Council hereby resolves and declares by way of Special Order that the undermentioned plants are Noxious Weeds within the County of Bruce.
SCHEDULE
Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus and Rubus laciniatus).
Nassella tussock (Nassella trichotoma).
Nodding thistle (Carduus nutans).
Californian thistle, Canadian thistle, or creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense).
Sweetbriar (Rosa eglanteria syn. Rosa rubiginosa).
Grey willow (Salix cinerea).
Crack willow (Salix fragilis).
And such special order shall take effect on the 1st day of November 1964.
