Departure From Operative Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of
the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments
and of the regulations made thereunder, that the Town and
Country Planning Appeal Board by order dated 14 October
1964, gave consent to a specific departure from the Operative
District Scheme of the City of Nelson (subject to the con-
ditions hereinafter set out), to the extent indicated hereunder:
By permitting Messrs A. R. Page Ltd. to extend its present
buildings on to that piece of land described in the Schedule
hereto for the purpose of conducting upon the said piece of
land a commercial garage and petro! station as a "Conditional
Use" in a Commercial "A" zone, the following conditions
to apply:

  1. That no panel beating is done on the premises at any
    time.
  2. That no workshop activity occurs after 9 p.m. at night.
    SCHEDULE
    ALL that piece of land containing sixteen decimal five perches
    (16·5p.), more or less, being Lot 2, Deposited Plan 2426,
    which said parcel is part of Section 235 of the City of
    Nelson, and being all of the land comprised and described in
    certificate of title, Volume 78, folio 119, Nelson Registry,
    subject to Order in Council 107, as to building-line condition
    in Grove Street, Nelson, and commonly known as 98 Grove
    Street, Nelson.

    Departure From Operative Scheme
    PUBLIC notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of
    the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments
    and of the regulations made thereunder, that the Town and
    Country Planning Appeal Board by order dated 14 October
    1964, gave consent to a departure from the Operative District

    By permitting Messrs C. Gibbons Ltd. to use the land at
    the corner of Parere Street and St. Vincent Street, in the
    City of Nelson, and which land is more particularly described
    in the Schedule hereto, for the erection of bins to contain
    gravel and sand and a bulk cement silo for feeding materials
    into a mobile mixing unit for delivery to construction sites,
    notwithstanding that the land is zoned Industrial "B" and
    shall remain so zoned, the following conditions to apply:
  3. That no concrete mixing shall be done on the site in
    fixed plant.
  4. That the site shall be kept clean and tidy to the
    satisfaction of the Nelson City Council at all times.
    SCHEDULE
    ALL that piece of land being part of Sections 7 and 9 and
    750 of the City of Nelson, having a frontage to St. Vincent
    Street of 190 ft and a depth of 290 ft along Parere Street,
    and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 52,
    folio 130 (Nelson Registry).

    WAIHEKE ROAD BOARD
    TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
    Waiheke Road Board District Scheme: Change No. 1
    Approved
    PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
    1960, public notice is hereby given that Change No. 1 to
    the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act
    1953 for the Waiheke Road District was approved by the
    board by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 16th
    day of October 1964. No objections were lodged. The
    board has also resolved that Change No. 1 to the scheme
    shall come into operation on the 1st day of December 1964.
    A copy of the Change No. 1 as approved has been deposited
    in the Board's office and may be inspected, without fee,
    by any person who so requires at any time when that office
    is open to the public.

    BOROUGH OF PORIRUA
    TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
    Public Notification of Amendment No. 1 of the No. 3 Section
    of the Makara County District Scheme
    PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution
    of the council made on the 21st day of October 1964, Amend-
    ment No. 1 to the No. 3 Section of the Makara County
    District Scheme has been recommended for approval under
    the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The amendment
    relates to that portion of the borough east of the motorway
    and south of Huanui, Awatea, and Ernest Streets. The
    amendment has been deposited in the Borough Council Office
    and the Public Library at Huanui Street in accordance with
    section 22 (1) of that Act, and is there open for inspection,
    without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when
    the office and Public Library are open to the public.
    Objections to the amendment or to any part thereof shall
    be in writing as form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the
    Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be
    lodged at the office of the council at any time not later than
    Monday, the 14th day of December 1964. At a later date
    every objection will be open for public inspection, and any
    person who wishes to oppose or support any objection will
    be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he
    notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which
    public notice will be given.

    GUSBORNE CITY COUNCIL
    TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
    Proposed Changes in Gisborne City District Scheme
    PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution
    of the council on 27 October 1964, the council has recom-
    mended that the Operative District Scheme be changed in
    respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereto. Copies of
    the proposed changes have been deposited in the City Council
    Office, Fitzherbert Street, Gisborne, the office of the District
    Land Registrar, Gisborne, and the Turanganui Public Library,
    Gisborne, in accordance with section 22 (1) of the Act and
    are there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons
    interested therein at any time when the above places are open
    to the public.
    Objections to the changes or to any part thereof shall be
    in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the
    Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be
    lodged at the office of the council at any time not later than
    22 December 1964. At a later date every objection will be
    open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to
    support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard
    at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in
    writing within the period of which public notice will be
    given.
    SCHEDULE
    Change No. 1: The Industrial C. 1 Zone in the Awapuni
    Road area and the neighbouring residential Zone on both
    sides of Stanley Road between Awapuni Road and Waikanae
    Creek be changed to Industrial C, all as shown on Plan
    No. T.P. 22.
    Change No. 2: The land shown on the District Planning
    Map as “Reserve for Government (Government centre) Pur-
    poses” bounded by Read’s Quay and Lowe Street (owners
    D. J. Barry Ltd., Bank of New Zealand, Select Tailors and
    Dry Cleaners, and E. J. Armour and M. B. Blair) and certi-
    fied by Minister of Works on 16 March 1962, as no longer
    required for Government purposes; be zoned Commercial C.
