ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 28th day of
October 1964
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-General IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
revokes the Order in Council made on 22 July 1936, and
published in Gazette, 23 July 1936, Volume II, page 1397,
and affecting the Maori freehold land set out in the Schedule
hereto.

All those pieces of land situated and described as follows:

Authorising the Purchase by the Taranaki Electric Power
Board of Certain Electric Works from the Waitara Borough
Council

At the Government House at Wellington this 28th day of

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-General IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act
1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
authorises the purchase by the Taranaki Electric Power Board
from the Waitara Borough Council of the electric works
described in the Schedule hereto, upon the terms contained
in a draft agreement, approved by the Minister of Electricity
on the 21st day of October 1964, made between the Electric
Power Board and the Waitara Borough Council.
SCHEDULE
The electric lines, reticulation, and associated equipment, the
property of the Waitara Borough Council, now used for the
supply of electricity to consumers within the area of supply
of the said council.

Postponing the Revision of District Valuation Roll

Pursuant to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the
revision of the District Valuation Roll for Waimate West
County shall be postponed and that such revision shall there-
upon be made not later than 31 March 1966.

Pursuant to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excel-
lency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the
District Valuation Rolls for the districts enumerated in the
Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at
1 November 1964.
SCHEDULE
Boroughs:
Arrowtown, Featherston, Feilding, Henderson, Marton, Otorohanga, Queenstown.
Cities:
Auckland, Christchurch, Hastings, Nelson, Wellington.
Counties:
Cook, Hawke's Bay, Hobson, Rodney, Taupo, Waihemo, Waikato, Woodville.
Town Districts: Hunterville, Manaia, Mangaweka.

Pursuant to the discretion conferred upon him by sub-
section (2) of section 9, Valuation of Land Act 1951, the
Valuer-General intends to exercise the authority conferred by
the foregoing Order in Council so far as it relates to Auckland
City by revising only those properties on the district
valuation roll which lie within the Tamaki and Orakei portions,
and also, so far as it relates to Hawke's Bay County by revis-
ing only those properties on the district valuation roll which
lie within the ridings of Waikare, Petane, Puketapu, Okawa,
Meeanee, and Maraekakaho.

Boundaries of Borough of Masterton and County of
Masterton Altered

October 1964

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-General IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Local Government Commission Act 1961,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.
ORDER

  1. On and from the 1st day of April 1965 the area described
    in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the County
    of Masterton and included in the Borough of Masterton.
  2. The alteration of the boundaries of the said borough
    and county hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have
    been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
    SCHEDULE
    All that area in the Wellington Land District, County of
    Masterton, containing 212 acres, more or less, bounded by
    a line commencing at a point on the north-western side
    of Railway Road 215 links from its intersection with the
    south-western side of Upper Plain Road being a point on
    the boundary of the Borough of Masterton as described
    in Gazette, 1951, page 235, and proceeding north-westerly
    along a line parallel to and 215 links distant from the said
    south-western side of Upper Plain Road to the south-
    eastern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 16695; thence south-
    westerly along that boundary and north-westerly along the
    south-western boundaries of Lots 5 and 4, D.P. 16695, and
    their production to and along the south-western boundaries
    of Lots 3, 2, and 1, D.P. 16695, to the south-eastern
    boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 365; thence south-westerly along
    that boundary and north-westerly along the south-western
    boundary of the said Lot 1 to the south-eastern side of
    Chamberlain Street; thence south-westerly along that side
    to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Lot
    1, D.P. 18820; thence north-westerly to and along that
    boundary and north-easterly along the north-western bound-
    aries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 18820, to a point 215 links from
    the south-western side of Upper Plain Road; thence north-
    westerly along a line parallel to and 215 links distant
    from that side to the south-eastern boundary of Section 42,
    Masterton Small Farm Settlement, and north-easterly along that
    boundary to the said side of Upper Plain Road; thence
    north-westerly along that side to a point in line with the
    north-western side of Kibblewhite Street; thence north-
    easterly to and along that side to peg 1, on S.O. plan 21461;
    thence easterly along a right line to the northern corner of
    Lot 2, D.P. 16822; thence south-easterly generally along the
    western and southern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 19644, and
    the generally south-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4017,
    to a point on the north-western side of Ngaumutawa Road,
    being a point on the aforesaid boundary of the Borough of
    Masterton; thence south-westerly generally along that bound-
    ary to the point of commencement.
