HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Wildlife Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following Order.
- (1) This Order may be cited as the Wellington, Wanganui, Waimarino Acclimatisation Districts Alteration Order 1964.
(2) This Order shall come into force on the day after the date of notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Wellington Acclimatisation District which was constituted by Warrant on the 10th day of August 1937 (N.Z. Gazette of 19 August 1937, at page 1847), the boundaries of Wanganui Acclimatisation District constituted by Warrant on the 7th day of September 1932 (N.Z. Gazette of 15 September 1932, at page 1998), and the boundaries of the Waimarino Acclimatisation District constituted by Warrant on the 4th day of March 1925 (N.Z. Gazette of 12 March 1925, at page 753), are hereby altered and redefined and as from the commencement of this Order, the boundaries of the said Districts shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON ACCLIMATISATION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the mouth of the Turakina River; thence in a north-easterly direction generally up the middle of that river to its junction with Waiaruhí Road at Rakctapauma (Bell’s Junction) in Block II, Maungakaretu Survey District; thence along the middle of the said road to and along the middle of National State Highway No. 1 to its junction with Provincial State Highway No. 49; thence easterly along a right line to Trig Station C (Auahitotara); thence northerly along a right line to Te Rotete Trig station and a right line to Trig station No. 28 (Manukaiapu); thence easterly along a right line to Trig Station No. 27 (Motumatai) and a right line in the direction of Trig station No. 26 (Tawakitohunga) to the middle of the Rangitikei River; thence down the middle of the Rangitikei River to its intersection with a right line between Trig Station No. 32, in Section 6, Block XV, Ohinewairua Survey District, and Aorangi Trig station, in Block XI, Pukeokahu Survey District; thence along that right line to Aorangi Trig Station and along another right line, between Aorangi Trig Station and the confluence of the northern branch of the Waipawa River with the Makaroro River, to the summit of the Ruahine Range; thence along the summit of the Ruahine Range to the Manawatu Gorge; thence up the middle of the Manawatu River to a point in line with the northern boundary of Makuri Survey District; thence to and along the northern boundaries of Makuri Survey District, Mount Cerberus Survey District, and Waimate Survey District to a point at the mouth of the Waimata River, in line with the mean low-water mark of the sea; thence southerly, westerly, and northerly generally along the mean low-water mark of the sea, crossing the mouths of all harbours and rivers to the point of commencement, and including Mana Island, Kapiti Island and all other adjacent islands.

WANGANUI ACCLIMATISATION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Wellington and Taranaki Land Districts, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the mouth of the Waitotara River and proceeding up the middle of the Waitotara River to and up the middle of the Mangaone Stream and along the southern boundary of Section 28, Block V, Nukumaru Survey District, to Wharekarangi Trig Station; thence easterly generally along the eastern boundary of that section, the south-western boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 659, and the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 4, D.P. 659, to the Waitotara Road; thence northerly generally across that road to and along the south-western boundaries of Lot 14 and the western boundaries of Lot 17, D.P. 918, situated in Block II, Nukumaru Survey District, to Orangihoangi Trig Station; thence easterly along a right line to Pakira Trig Station; thence along the south-western and western boundaries of the Manganuiotahu Block to the Manganuiotahu Stream and up that stream to and along the generally western boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 2765, and Lot 1, D.P. 2764, of Mangapapa 1B Block, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence easterly along the northern boundary of that lot and its production to the middle of Watershed Road; thence northerly generally along the middle of that road, to and along the summit of the range passing through Maungarau Trig Station to Mount Humphries in Block III, Taurakawa Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to the confluence of the Tangarakau and Wanganui Rivers; thence down the middle of the Wanganui River to and up the middle of the Paparoa Stream to the southernmost corner of Section 9, Block XI, Tauakira Survey District; thence along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 9 and 3, Block XI, the western, northern, and eastern boundaries of Section 1, Block XIII, Tauakira Survey District, the southern boundary of Section 1, Block IX, Ngamatea Survey District, and the south-western boundary of Ohotu No. 9 Block and its production to the middle of the Mangawhero River; thence down the middle of that river to and up the middle of the Rangitatau Stream to Fields Track; thence along the middle of Fields Track to and down the middle of the Waokaramu Stream, forming the north-eastern boundary of Ohotu 6A 1B, to the middle of the Whangaehu River; thence up the middle of that river to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 1, Block IV, Ngamatea Survey District; thence easterly along that boundary to the middle of the Whangaehu Valley Road, along the middle of that road to and along the middle of Owhakura Road to its junction with the Turakina River; thence south-westerly generally down the middle of the Turakina River to a point in line with the mean low-water mark of the sea; thence north-westerly generally along the mean low-water mark of the sea, crossing the mouths of all harbours and rivers to the point of commencement.

WAIMARINO ACCLIMATISATION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Ongarue and Wanganui Rivers at Taumarunui, and proceeding up the middle of the Wanganui River to its intersection, with a right line from Tongariro Trig Station to a point at the mouth of the Waihi Stream on the west shore of Lake Taupo; thence south-westerly along that right line to Tongariro Trig Station; thence along a right line to Trig Station D (Ngauruhoe), a right line to Trig Station H (Paretetaitonga), and a right line to Ruapehu Trig Station; thence south-easterly along a right line to Trig Station No. 28 (Manukaiapu); thence south-westerly along a right line to Te Rotete Trig Station, a right line to Trig Station C (Auahitotara) and along a right line to the junction of Provincial State Highway No. 49 with National State Highway No. 1; thence along the middle of the last-mentioned State highway, the middle of Waiaruhí Road, the middle of Owhakura Road, and the middle of the Whangaehu Valley Road to and along the northern boundary of Section 1, Block IV, Ngamatea Survey District, and its production to the middle of the Whangaehu River; thence down the middle of that River to and up the middle of the Waokaramu Stream, forming the north-eastern boundary of Ohotu 6A 1B to Fields Track; thence to and along the middle of the said track to and down the middle of the Rangitatau Stream to and up the middle of the Mangawhero River, to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Ohotu No. 9 Block; thence to and along that south-western boundary, the southern boundary of Section 1, Block IX, Ngamatea Survey District, the eastern, northern, and western boundaries of Section 1, Block XII, Tauakira Survey District, the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 3 and 9, Block XI, aforesaid to the southernmost corner of the said Section 9; thence to and down the middle of the Paparoa Stream to and up the middle of the Wanganui River to its confluence with the Ongarue River, being the point of commencement.

Donald Street, in the Borough of Lyttelton, Exempted From the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

At the Government House at Wellington this 14th day of October 1964

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Lyttelton Borough Council on the 8th day of June 1964, and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the street described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Lyttelton Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Lyttelton by resolution, declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to Donald Street which adjoins part Reserve 34, part being more particularly described as Lot 1, Deposited Plan 9129, and being also all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 404, folio 103 (Canterbury Registry).

SECOND SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that street situated in the Borough of Lyttelton, known as Donald Street, fronting part Reserve 34, and Lot 1, D.P. 9129, being part other part Reserve 34; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18816 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
