The Trustee Savings Banks (Changes of Names) Order 1964

At the Government House at Wellington this 23rd day of September 1964

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Trustee Savings Banks (Changes of Names) Order 1964.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1964. - The Hawke's Bay Savings Bank (which was constituted by the Hawke's Bay Savings Bank Order 1962*) shall hereafter be called the Hawke's Bay-Gisborne Savings Bank, the Manawatu Savings Bank (which was constituted by the Manawatu Savings Bank Order 1963†) shall hereafter be called the Manawatu-Wairarapa Savings Bank, and the Wellington Savings Bank (which was constituted by the Wellington Savings Bank Order 1964‡) shall hereafter be called the Wellington District Savings Bank.
- The savings banks referred to in clause 2 of this order are hereby declared for all purposes to be the same savings banks as existed immediately before the commencement of this order under the names then applicable.
- The provisions of subsections (3), (4), and (5) of section 2 of the Trustee Savings Banks Amendment Act 1964 shall, with the necessary modifications, apply with respect to the savings banks referred to in clause 2 of this order as if they were savings banks referred to in those subsections.

Authorising the Jerusalem Tribal Committee to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Wanganui

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Jerusalem Tribal Committee (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS - The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, and the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY - The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
DURATION OF LICENCE - Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1985.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy, by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee's powerhouse on Section 31 A B 2 (Lot 11) and proceeding as follows:
(i) In an easterly direction across a road to the Marae Hall.
(ii) In a westerly direction to a residence and post office on Lot 14.
(iii) In a south-westerly direction across a road to residences on Lots 6 and 8.
(iv) In a north-westerly direction across a road to residences on Lots 19, 20, and 24.
(v) In a northerly direction to a residence on Lot 11.
All being situated in Morikau, Block I, Tauakira Survey District in the County of Wanganui, the said lines being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 622 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ruapuha hapu of the Ngatimaniapoto tribe.

The Northern and North-western Side of Portion of Roscoe Terrace, in the City of Wellington, Exempted From the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, Subject to a Building-line Condition

HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the 12th day of February 1964, and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Second Schedule hereto, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the side and portion of street described in the said Second Schedule within a distance of 20 ft from the centre line of the said portion of street.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Wellington City Council being the local authority having control of the streets in Wellington City, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, shall not apply to the northern and north-western side of the portion of Roscoe Terrace adjoining part Lots 53 and 54, D.P. 200, being all (or part) of the land in certificate of title, Volume 47, folio 152, Wellington Registry, as is more particularly shown on the plan annexed hereto.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
THE northern and north-western side of all that portion of street situated in the City of Wellington, known as Roscoe Terrace, fronting Lot 53 and part Lot 54, D.P. 200; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18789 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington and thereon coloured red.
