RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £40,000 authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council for the purpose of providing a water supply for Bulls County Town, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of sixpence (6d.) in the pound on the unimproved value or special value, under the provisions of the Urban Farm Land Rating Act 1932, of all rateable property in the County Town of Bulls; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off".

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Rangitikei County Council held on 10 September 1964.

WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimea County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000, authorised to be raised by the Waimea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Waimea County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·017 pence in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the Waimea County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimea County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Waimea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a new office block at Richmond, the said Waimea County Council hereby makes a special rate of 1/27d. in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the Waimea County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Waitotara County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for urban drainage and other public amenities, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said County Council situate at number 331 Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, and is open to inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the taking of the said land who have any well grounded objection to the taking must state their objection in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

All that piece of land containing four acres one rood twenty decimal four perches (4a. 1r. 20·4p.), more or less, being Lots 31 and 32, on Deposited Plan 2675, being part Sections 80 and 81, Block V, Westmere Survey District, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 290, folio 160, situate on Montgomery Road, Wanganui.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act 1924, the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and their respective amendments, notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf to execute a certain public work, namely, for a street and in connection with street widening at Blackbridge Road and Wadestown Road, in the City of Wellington and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said City, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by any person during ordinary office hours and that any person affected by the execution of the said public work or to the taking of land should if he has any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, send that written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Alexandra Borough Council proposes, under the provision of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public works—namely the widening of Tarbert Street, Rivers Street, and McDonald Street in the Borough of Alexandra; and for the purposes of such public works the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situated in Skird Street, Alexandra, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Skird Street.
