WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit the construction of a public road for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereof requires to be taken by the Waipa County Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.
A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council, in Bank Street, Te Awamutu. Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) and to send such written objection to the Waipa County Council within 40 days from the first publication of this notice.

BOROUGH OF ASHBURTON

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the following variations to the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the Borough of Ashburton, was approved by the council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 7th day of September 1964.
The variations aforementioned are as follows:
(a) Proposed extension to the existing Industrial "C" Zone, to include Pts. Res. 2275, 2378, Helcombe Street, at present zoned as Rural.
(b) Proposed extension to the existing Commercial "A" Zone, to include portion of part Lot 117, D.P. 236, Allens Road, at present zoned as Residential "A".
(c) Proposed addition to Code of Ordinances forming part of the Ashburton Borough District Scheme, Ordinance 9, Commercial "A" Zone, Conditional Uses. Sub-clause (h) to read as follows:
(h) Restricted use rear Lots 1 and 2, of D.P. Use of the foregoing rear sites for “public utility” purposes considered appropriate by council for inclusion in this type of zone, and not being retailing or business premises.
The council has also resolved that the scheme came into operation on 9 September 1964.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council's Office, and in the Ashburton Public Library, these may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so inquires, at any time when these places are open to the public.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Section 6 (Ahuriri Lagoon), Section 7 (Pirimai), of the City of Napier District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Napier City Council made on the 27th day of January 1964, two sections of a district scheme have been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The sections comprise Section 6, known as the Ahuriri Lagoon Section, and Section 7 known as the Pirimai Section - both sections being formerly part of the Hawke's Bay Extra Urban Planning Scheme No. 1. The scheme has been deposited in the public library, the Town Clerk's and City Engineer's Office in accordance with section 22 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in Form E prescribed in the First Schedule of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the council at any time not later than 4 p.m. on the 31st day of October 1964. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

MINING ACT 1926

Notice is hereby given that William Michael Olds, of Ripponvale, orchardist, and Peter John Olds, of Cromwell, mechanic, will apply to the Warden of the Otago Mining District at Cromwell, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday the 14th day of October 1964, for a licence for a water race to carry one head of water from the Kawarau River commencing on the river bank reserve by Robertshaw's Bridge crossing the applicants' freehold land, being Section 95, Block I, Cromwell Survey District, and terminating at a dam on the applicants' said freehold land.
Objections must be filed in the office of the Mining Registrar, Cromwell, and notified to applicants whose address for service is at the office of Messrs Broderick and Parcell, Solicitors, 49 Melmore Street, Cromwell, at least three days before the above-mentioned time of hearing.
