PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby take the land described in the Schedule hereto and also revoke the Proclamation dated the 5th day of May 1964 and published in Gazette, 21 May 1964, No. 30, page 835, in so far as it affects the land first described in the Third Schedule of the said Proclamation.

PURSUANT to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby make the following order:

The Order in Council dated the 10th day of November 1948, and published in the Gazette, 18 November 1948, Vol. III, page 1396, is hereby amended by omitting the Schedule to that Order in Council, and substituting the Schedule set out in the Schedule to this Order in Council.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY

Berwick Rural Fire District

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Bruce County, containing approximately 23,000 acres, situated in Waipori, Maungatua, Table Hill, Clarendon, and Waihola Survey Districts and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at the north-western corner of Section 25, Block X, Clarendon Survey District, and proceeding in a northerly direction along the eastern boundary of Section 33, Block VI, Table Hill Survey District, to Trig. E and along the eastern boundary of Section 4, Block X, Table Hill Survey District to its north-eastern corner; thence westerly along the northern boundary of Section 4, aforesaid, thence northerly along the eastern boundary of Section 2, Block X, Table Hill Survey District, to its junction with a public road; thence generally north-westerly, northerly, and north-easterly by the southern, western, and northern sides of a public road to a point on the boundary between Blocks IX and X, Waipori Survey District, approximately 96 chains south of Trig.
