The Papatoetoe Secondary Schools’ Board of Governors Order 1964

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


O R D E R

  1. This order may be cited as the Papatoetoe Secondary Schools Board of Governors Order 1964.
  2. The constitution of the Board of Governors to which the Papatoetoe High School Board of Governors Order 1964 applied before the commencement of this order is hereby varied so that the Board shall be known as the Papatoetoe Secondary Schools’ Board and be constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board;
(b) Four members elected by the parents of the pupils attending Papatoetoe High School;
(c) Four members elected by the parents of the pupils attending Aorere College;
(d) One member appointed by the Papatoetoe Borough Council;
(e) One member appointed by the Manukau County Council;
(f) One member co-opted by the Board itself, if and when it thinks fit.

  1. The Papatoetoe High School Board of Governors Order 1964* is hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the assignment to John Stuart Fell, of Nikau Bay, Pelorus Sound, farmer, by Arthur Charles Gregson Fell, of Pelorus Sound, of his rights, powers, and privileges under an Order in Council dated the 25th day of November 1959, and published in the Gazette, on the 3rd day of December 1959, at page 1785.
