REDUCTION OF CAPITAL
In the Supreme Court of New Zealand
Canterbury District
(Christchurch Registry)
IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Hirsch, Son and Rhodes (New Zealand) Ltd. a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Christchurch, and carrying on there and elsewhere in New Zealand the business of wool brokers, notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 23rd day of July 1964, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £20,000 to £10,000 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 3rd day of August 1964. The said minute is in the words and figures following:
“The capital of Hirsch, Son and Rhodes (New Zealand) Ltd. by virtue of a special resolution and with the sanction of an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 23rd day of July 1964, reduced from the former capital of £20,000 divided into 4,000 shares of £5 each to £10,000 divided into 4,000 shares of £2 10s. each. At the date of registration of this minute 4,000 shares numbered 1 to 4,000 have been issued and are deemed to be fully paid up.”
Dated this 5th day of August 1964.

Annual Statement
In the matter of the New Zealand Insurance Company Trust Act 1916.
I, Walter Adolph Race General Manager (Trust Department), do solemnly and sincerely declare:
- That the liability of the members is limited.
- That the capital of the company is £10,000,000 divided into 20,000,000 shares of 10s. each.
- That the number of shares issued is 12,892,800.
- That calls to the amount of 10s. per share have been made under which the sum of £6,466,400 has been received.
- That the amount of all moneys received on account of estates is £103,209,657 7s. 8d.
- That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates is £102,675,204 10s. 0d.
- That the amount of the balance held to the credit of estates under administration in the Company’s Trust Bank Accounts is £534,452 17s. 8d.
- That the liabilities of the company at the close of its financial year (to wit, the 31st day of May 1964) were:
Debts owing to sundry persons by the company, viz—
On judgment, nil.
On specialty, nil.
On notes or bills, nil.
On simple contracts, £1,536,033.
On estimated liabilities, £4,564,722. - That the assets of the company on that date were:
Government securities, £5,529,751.
Bills of exchange and promissory notes, nil.
Cash at bankers, at call, and in hand, £849,416.
Other securities, £13,831,468.
And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true by virtue of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan 1964
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Bay of Islands County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of securing the payment of interest and principal on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the said Council from the State Advances Corporation of New Zealand, to be known as the Rural Housing Loan 1964, for the purposes of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one sixteenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (based on the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Bay of Islands; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Bay of Islands County Council held in the Council Chambers, Kawakawa, on the 15th day of July 1964.

WAVERLEY TOWN COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waverley Town Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,000 authorised to be raised by the Waverley Town Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of the land and existing house thereon being No. 15 Hussey Street, Waverley, the said the Waverley Town Council hereby makes a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property of the Waverley Town District comprising the whole of the Waverley Town District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The common seal of the body corporate known as the Chairman, Councillors, and Citizens of the Town District of Waverley was hereunto affixed this 4th day of August 1964, by order of the Council and in the presence of:

HAWKE’S BAY COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hawke’s Bay County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £29,000 authorised to be raised by the Hawke’s Bay County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a water supply for the Bay View area, the said Hawke’s Bay County Council hereby makes a special rate of 3·35 pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Bay View Water Supply Area as constituted on the 1st day of February 1964; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Hawke’s Bay County Council held on the 10th day of August 1964.

OTOROHANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan 1964, £50,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000 authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes a special rate of seven-fortieths pence in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Otorohanga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Otorohanga County Council held on the 22nd day of May 1964.
