NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR RIVER PROTECTION WORKS

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and in the matter of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and in the matter of the Waikato Valley Authority Act 1956, notice is hereby given by the Otorohanga Borough Council that it is proposed to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, the under-mentioned pieces of land for river protection works, and notice is hereby given that a plan showing the said pieces of land is on view and open to inspection at the office of the Council, at the address set out below during ordinary business hours, and notice is further given that all persons affected by the taking of the said pieces of land for river protection works who have any well-grounded objection, should set forth the same in writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Otorohanga Borough Council, Council Chambers, Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga.

ONE (1) acre one (1) rood four (4) perches, more or less, being the Block situated in Block VIII, Orahiri Survey District, called Orahiri No. 1, Section 17 A.

NELSON CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Nelson City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, to acquire additional land for tree planting and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objects to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing one acre (1 ac.), more or less, situated in the City of Nelson, being part of Section 33, Block E, District of Wakatu, conveyed by Conveyance No. 29224, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 52, folio 143 (Nelson Registry).

KAIKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Kaikohe Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely the extension of a street leading off Broadway into the Marino Block in the Borough of Kaikohe, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situated off Broadway, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

Every person affected thereby who has any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make and send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Broadway, Kaikohe.

WAIITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR PUBLIC AMENITIES AND FOR HOUSING

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments, and the Counties Act 1956 and amendments, notice is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute certain public works, viz. the provision of public amenities on the parcels of land referred to in Schedule "A" hereunder and the development for housing purposes of the parcels of land referred to in Schedule "B" hereunder, all parcels being situated in Glenfield Road and Bentley Avenue, in Glenfield County Town, in the Birkenhead Riding, of the County of Waitemata, and for the purposes of such public works the lands described in the Schedules hereunder are required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council at No. 199 Karangahape Road, Auckland, and are open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said land who have any objections to the proposals, not being an objection to the amount of payment of compensation, and wishing them to be considered must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Review of Taupo Borough District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council made on the 9th day of April 1964, the Taupo Borough district scheme as already operative is under review, and the Council has recommended that the scheme with the changes now incorporated therein be approved. The scheme as now recommended by the Council has been deposited in the Municipal Offices, Story Place, and Municipal Library, Story Place, Taupo, and is there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the proposed changes of the district scheme or in respect of any of the operative district scheme which the Council proposes to confirm, without any change, may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked "Objection to district scheme", and lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 4 p.m., on Thursday the 24th day of September 1964.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.
