THAT piece of land containing 0·18 of a perch, more or less,
being part Lot 1B, Deposited Plan 263, being part Allotment 8,
Section 5, Suburbs of Auckland, and being part of the land
comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 244,
folio 63, North Auckland Registry, as the same is shown on a
plan lodged with the Chief Surveyor at Auckland for approval
under No. 44481, and thereon coloured sepia, situated at
No. 2 Haslett Street, Auckland.

TIMARU CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the
Timaru City Council proposes under the Provisions of the
above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely,
the creation of a service lane and for the purpose of such
public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are
required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that
a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in
the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situated
in King George's Place, Timaru, and is open for inspection,
without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-
grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or
to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in
writing and send the same within 40 days from the first
publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council
Chambers, King George's Place, Timaru.

MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956, and the Public Works
Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Manukau County
Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Acts to execute a certain public work, namely the realignment
of the Papakura - Kawakawa Bay Road near the Piro Stream
bridge and for the purposes of such public work the lands
described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the
land so required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the
Manukau County Council, Hill Road Manurewa, and is there
open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during all
reasonable hours. And every person affected by the execution
of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands who
have any objection he may wish to make to the execution
of the said work or the taking of the said lands, not being
an objection to the amount or payment of compensation,
shall set forth their objections in writing and send the same
within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the
County Clerk of the Manukau County Council at the offices of
the said Council aforesaid.

FIRST: All that parcel of land situated in the County of
Manukau containing 2 roods 26·6 perches, more or less, being
part Mataitai 1A 2B 5B 2 Block, being part of the land in
provisional register, Volume 185, folio 99 (North Auckland
Registry).

And secondly: All that parcel of land situated in the County
of Manukau containing 16·5 perches, more or less, being
part Mataitai 1A 2B 5A 1 Block, being part of the land in
certificate of title, No. lC/244 (North Auckland Registry).

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked S.O. 43119 deposited in the office of the Chief Sur-
veyor at Auckland, and thereon coloured blue.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amend-
ments and in the matter of the Soil Conservation and
Rivers Control Act 1941 and its amendments, public notice
is hereby given that the Otago Catchment Board intends
to take for river control purposes under the provisions of the
Public Works Act 1928 and the Soil Conservation and Rivers
Control Act 1941, all those areas of land described in the
Schedule hereto.

The plan of the said lands (O.C.B. No. B3605) is deposited
at the South Division Office of the Otago Catchment Board,
Hasborough Place, Balclutha, and is open for inspection by all
persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by
the execution of the said public work or by taking of the said
land are hereby required and called upon to set forth in
writing any objections to the execution of the said public work
or the taking of the said land, not being an objection
to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such
in writing within forty (40) days from the first publication
of this notice to the Secretary, Otago Catchment Board, 725
George Street, Dunedin.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Departure From Operative District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions
of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, that the Town
and Country Planning Appeal Board, by order No. 334/63,
dated the 24th day of March 1964, has consented to a
specified departure from the provisions of the Wanganui
City Operative District Scheme by allowing the City Council
to permit Roberta Lingerie Ltd. to extend its existing build-
ing by adding another storey and extending the second storey
over the adjoining right-of-way approximately 16 ft 2 in.
above ground level and by allowing the said company to
conduct its light industry, namely, the use of sewing machines
on part of the proposed new floor of its premises, notwith-
standing that the land being ten perches (10 p.), more or
less, situate in the City of Wanganui, being part of Section
38 of the Town of Wanganui, and being all the land com-
prised and described in certificate of title, Volume 331, folio
36 (Wellington Registry) (limited as to parcels), subject to
a right-of-way created by Conveyance No. 7711 (13/498) and
being the subject of this application is and shall remain zoned
Commercial C.
