LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan (No. 11) 1964, £73,000 THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows: “That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of seventy-three thousand pounds (£73,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying loans maturing on 1 September, 23 October, and 1 December 1964, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four hundred and forty-nine thousandths of a penny (0·449d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate, made pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such time as the loan is paid off.” I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 13 July 1964. BULLER ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Buller Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows: “That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £29,900 authorised to be raised by the Buller Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Purchasing and Construction Loan 1950, and Purchasing and Construction Supplementary Loan 1954, which mature on 1 July 1964, 30 November 1964, and 31 March 1965, the said Buller Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal one seven of a penny (0·17d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Buller Electric Power District, comprising part of the County of Buller and the whole of the Borough of Westport; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 14 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.” 2878 G. WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE Rural Housing Loan No. 7, 1964, £50,000 PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipa County Council hereby resolves as follows: “That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000 authorised to be raised by the Waipa County Council under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Waipa County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·074d. in the pound on the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Waipa; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.” We hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Waipa County Council held on Monday, 20 July 1964. NELSON CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves that for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £13,700 to be known as the Drainage Improvement Renewal Loan No. 1, 1964, authorised to be raised by the Nelson City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Drainage Improvement Loan No. 2, 1954, which matures on 1 October 1964, the Nelson City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·05898 pence in the pound upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Nelson, comprising the whole of the said city; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the Loan, being a period of 10 years, or until such loan is paid off. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed by the Nelson City Council at a meeting held at the City Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on the 16th day of July 1964. 2919 W. E. NELSON CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves that for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £20,200 to be known as the Stoke Sewerage Renewal Loan No. 1, 1964, authorised to be raised by the Nelson City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Stoke Sewerage Loan 1958, which matures on 15 September 1964, the Nelson City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·11548 pence in the pound upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all the rateable property in the City of Nelson comprising the whole of the said city; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until such loan is paid off. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed by the Nelson City Council at a meeting held at the City Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on the 16th day of July 1964. 2920 W. E. PATEA COUNTY COUNCIL RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE Redemption Loan 1964, £4,600 PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Patea County Council hereby resolves as follows: “That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of £4,600 authorised to be raised by Patea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying of Bridges Loan, due and payable on 15 June 1964, the said Patea County Council hereby makes a special rate of one-eightieth of a penny (⅛d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the said county; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 14 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.” 2895

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND NOTICE is hereby given that the Matamata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that plans showing the land proposed to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the above Council, situated at Tirau, and are there open for inspection. Every person affected who wishes to make any objection to the taking of the said land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) must state his objection in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Tirau.
