RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Railway Overbridge Loan 1964, £7,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rodney County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £7,000 authorised to be raised by the Rodney County Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of financing Council’s share of the cost of constructing an overbridge at the level crossing on the Wellsford-Leigh road, the said Rodney County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal 055 pence in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the County; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Rodney County Council held on 25 June 1964.
