Declaring Land in South Auckland Land District, Vested in the South Auckland Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland Education Board as a site for a public school shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

PART Allotment 279, Whangamarino Parish on D.P. No. 3296, situated in Block XIV, Piako Survey District: Area, 2 acres, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 124, folio 259.

Declaring Ponui Island in the Hauraki Gulf to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge in the Hauraki Gulf for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE

THAT area in the North Auckland Land District described as follows:

Ponui (or Chamberlin's) Island, situated in Blocks VIII, X, and XI, Waiheke Survey District and Block XVI, Wairoa Survey District: Area, 4,373 acres, more or less. All certificates of title, Volume 86, folio 177, Volume 389, folio 39, Volume 637, folio 197, Volume 741, folios 130 and 131, and Volume 2090, folio 18.

As is shown on plan numbered I.A. 46/29/403 and deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Amending a Proclamation Taking Land, Subject to a Water Easement, for the Purpose of Installing a Pumping Station and Other Works in Connection with Water Supply in Block VIII, Punakitere Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Schedule of the Proclamation dated the 8th day of September 1959, and published in the Gazette, 1959, Vol. III, page 1291, taking land, subject to a water easement, for the purpose of installing a pumping station and other works in connection with water supply in Block VIII, Punakitere Survey District, and in lieu thereof do hereby proclaim and declare that the land taken shall be that described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 26·2 perches situated in Block VIII, Punakitere Survey District, North Auckland R.D., and being that portion of Motatau No. 5E 22 Block coloured yellow on plan P.W.D. 159869 (S.O. 40801), after excepting thereout the portion of the said Motatau No. 5E 22 Block coloured yellow on plan M.O.W. 18510 (S.O. 44248); as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and marked and coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of July 1964.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 12·44 perches situated in the City of Wellington, Wellington R.D., being Lot 1, D.P. 11759. All certificate of title, Volume 471, folio 114, Wellington Land Registry. Subject to the building-line condition imposed by Order in Council No. 287, Wellington Land Registry.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, and section 15 of the Broadcasting Corporation Act 1961, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Broadcasting Corporation Act 1961 (Television Transmitter Site) and shall vest in the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation from and after the 13th day of July 1964.

ALL that piece of land containing 21·6 perches situated in Block II, Westmere Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Lot 2, D.P. 18184, being part Sections 154 and 244 and part closed road, Right Bank Wanganui River; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18548 (S.O. 25736) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
