Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

The Right Hon. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a church site for the common use or benefit of adherents of the Ratana faith.

Pursuant to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council made on 27 February 1957 and published in Gazette, 7 March 1957, Volume L, page 437, and affecting the Maori freehold land set out in the Schedule hereto.
