Boundaries of County of Waitotara and City of Wanganui Altered

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 21st day of January, 1964.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1961, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:
ORDER:

On and from the 1st day of April 1964 the area described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the County of Waitotara and included in the City of Wanganui.

On and from the date aforesaid the area described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the City of Wanganui and included in the County of Waitotara.

The alteration of the boundaries of the said County and the said City hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
FIRST SCHEDULE
AREA EXCLUDED FROM COUNTY OF WAITOTARA AND INCLUDED IN CITY OF WANGANUI
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, County of Waitotara, containing 1 acre and 20 perches, more or less, being part Lot 2, D.P. 744, and being also part Section 24, right bank, Wanganui River, situated in Block VI, Westmere Survey District.
SECOND SCHEDULE
AREA EXCLUDED FROM CITY OF WANGANUI AND INCLUDED IN COUNTY OF WAITOTARA
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, City of Wanganui, containing 38 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 16409, and being also part Section 24, right bank, Wanganui River, situated in Block VI, Westmere Survey District.

PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Mount Wellington Borough Council to reclaim from the sea in the Tamaki River, Auckland Harbour, 31 2 perches of land, more or less, as shown shaded yellow on plan marked M.D. 11659 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Hutt County Council to reclaim from the sea in Karehana Bay, Plimmerton, 2 roods 18 8 perches of land, more or less, as shown shaded blue on plan marked M.D. 11680 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Registration of Dogs on Motiti Island

PURSUANT to the Dogs Registration Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby delegates, in respect of dogs ordinarily kept on Motiti Island, the functions, powers, and duties conferred or imposed on him by that Act, except the powers conferred by section 30 of that Act.

PURSUANT to section 39A of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint:
Cuthbert Hargreaves Taylor, Esquire, of Wellington, being a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand;
Leslie Porter Blunt, Esquire, of Kaikoura, being a person nominated by the Executive Committee of the New Zealand Counties Association, Incorporated;
Edgar Whittleston, Esquire, of Dunedin, being a person nominated by the Executive Committee of the Municipal Association of New Zealand Incorporated; and
Rex Ryerson Beaumont, Esquire, of Lower Hutt, Barrister and Solicitor;
to be members of the Special Town and Country Planning Appeal Board for a period commencing on the 10th day of February 1964 and terminating on the 14th day of August 1964; and I hereby appoint Cuthbert Hargreaves Taylor, the Deputy Chairman of the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, to be Chairman of the Special Town and Country Planning Appeal Board.
