PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

WHEREAS, by an Order in Council dated the 21st day of December 1960 and published in Gazette, 23 December 1960, Volume 3, page 1983, the Honourable William Stanley Goosman, Minister of Works, was appointed to be the Chairman of the National Roads Board:

And whereas the said William Stanley Goosman has resigned from membership of the Board:

Now therefore, pursuant to section 4 of the National Roads Board Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby appoints

the Honourable Percy Benjamin Allen

to be Chairman of the National Roads Board.
