Changes of Mount Wellington District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the changes of the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act for the Borough of Mount Wellington relating to the areas and matters, set forth in the Schedule to this notice, were approved by the Mount Wellington Borough Council, by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 8th day of June 1964, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the changes of the scheme had been disposed of and the changes of the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed.

The Council has also resolved that the changes of the scheme shall come into operation on the 30th day of June 1964.

A copy of the changes of the scheme and the scheme itself as amended by the changes has been deposited in the Council’s office and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when the office is open to the public.

Change No. 13/1

Map Amendment No. 13/1A: Lagoon Drive and Queens Road; change of zoning from Residential A to reserve for national, civic, and community purposes, extension of street.

Map Amendment No. 13/1B: Lagoon Drive; change of zoning from Residential A to reserve for national, civic, and community purposes.

Map Amendment No. 13/1C: Queens Road and Kings Road; change of zoning from Residential A to reserve for national, civic, and community purposes; change of zoning from Residential A to public open space.

BOROUGH OF DEVONPORT

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Change of Devonport District Scheme
Pursuant to Section 29

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Devonport Borough Council made on the 17th day of June 1964, a change of the district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The change relates to a reduction of the proposed road widening fronting Victoria Road at Clarence Street. A plan of the proposed change has been deposited at the office of the Devonport Borough Council, Victoria Road, Devonport, and at the Devonport Public Library, Victoria Road, Devonport, and at the office of the District Land Registrar, Auckland, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the change shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 10th day of August 1964.

At a later date, every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

STATUTES AMENDMENT ACT 1943

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 21

APPLICATION having been made to me to remove order of the Court of Review, registered as No. K. 15540, against the land described in the Schedule hereto, made in respect of an application by Norman Croad, of Opiki, farmer, as purchaser under an agreement for sale and purchase of the under-mentioned land dated 9 April 1929 with Rangitane Farm Co. Ltd. as vendor, I hereby give notice of my intention to remove such Court order from the register, unless notice of an application to the Supreme Court or a Judge thereof for an order restraining me from so doing is lodged with me before the expiration of one month from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

ALL that parcel of land containing 73 acres 1 rood 34 perches, more or less, situate in Block IV of the Mount Robinson Survey District, being part of Subdivision 2A of the Tuwhakatupua Block, and being also Lot 10 on Deposited Plan 9817, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 459, folio 78 (Wellington Registry).

MINING ACT 1926

NOTICE is hereby given that Beeches Pastoral Co. Ltd. has applied to the Warden of the Otago Mining District at Cromwell, to alter the point of intake of water-race licence 1744, approximately 900 yards down Pigburn Creek from original intake to point opposite Section 18, Block IV, Upper Taieri District, and approximately 600 yards from Patearoa-Hamilton road with new race leading therefrom in a northerly direction for 230 yards thereafter following existing course. The said application will be heard at the Warden’s Court, Cromwell, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday the 22nd day of July 1964.

MINING ACT 1926

NOTICE is hereby given that Bruce Cunningham Greer, Edith Evelyn Greer, Taieriside Farm Lands Ltd., William George Hall, and Thomas Alexander Hall have applied to the Warden of the Otago Mining District at Cromwell, to alter the course of water race held under licence 2388, by extending the course approximately 620 yards in a south-easterly direction through Section 51, Block I, Upper Taieri District and Mining Reserve, to new intake opposite Section 52, said Block I approximately 620 yards further up Sowburn Creek from present intake under said licence. The said application will be heard at the Warden’s Court, Cromwell, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday the 22nd day of July 1964.

MINING ACT 1926

NOTICE is hereby given that Bruce Cunningham Greer, Edith Evelyn Greer, Hector Bruce McSkimming, and James Patrick Vernon Herlihy, have applied to the Warden of the Otago Mining District at Cromwell, to alter point of intake in respect of water-race licence 1457, approximately 280 yards further down Sowburn Creek to point adjacent to Sowburn Creek bridge on Styx-Patearoa road, with new race leading therefrom approximately 200 yards in a north-easterly direction to join existing race. The said application will be heard at the Warden’s Court, Cromwell, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday the 22nd day of July 1964.

MINING ACT 1926

NOTICE is hereby given that Bruce Cunningham Greer and Edith Evelyn Greer, have applied to the Warden of the Otago Mining District at Cromwell, to alter the course of dry water race held under licence 2373, so as to abandon pipe line granted by application 19/47 Naseby, and revert to former course extending approximately 1,400 yards further up Pigburn Creek with extension through Mining Reserve, to intake adjacent to Patearoa-Hamilton road to carry water under water-race licence 1118. The said application will be heard at the Warden’s Court, Cromwell, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday the 22nd day of July 1964.
