hereby makes a special rate of fifty-eight thousandths of a
penny (0·058d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value
(upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property of the City of Palmerston North; and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be repayable on the 1st day of
April in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council
on the 22nd day of June 1964.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal
Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments,
notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council pro-
poses under the provisions of the above-named Acts and
all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that
behalf to execute a certain public work, namely for housing
purposes at the rear of the premises 9, 11, 11A, 15, 15A, 17, 19,
21, 23, and 25 Lawrence Street, and 138, 140, 142, 144, and
146 Owen Street, in the City of Wellington and for the pur-
poses of that public work the land described in the Schedule
hereto, is required to be taken, and notice is hereby further
given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is
deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the
said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street,
in the said City, and is there open for inspection, without
fee, by any person during ordinary office hours and that any
person affected by the execution of the said public work or
the taking of the said land should if he has any objection
to the execution of the said public work or to the taking
of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or
payment of compensation, send his written objection within
40 days from the first publication of this notice to the
Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his
said office.

and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said City, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours and that any person affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should if he has any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, send his written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

ALL those pieces of land situate at 225 and 227 Willis Street
in the City of Wellington containing by admeasurement:
First, five and twenty-nine one hundredths perches (5·29
pchs.) more or less, being Part of Town Section 144, being Lot
1, on Deposited Plan No. 7039, being also the whole of the
land in certificate of title, Volume 321, folio 249, Wellington
Registry, together with the Rights of Way reserved by trans-
fer No. 165981.
Secondly, five and thirty-two one hundredths perches (5·32
pchs.) more or less, being Part of Town Section 144, Lot 2,
on Deposited Plan No. 7039, being also the whole of the
land in certificate of title, Volume 321, folio 248, Wellington
Registry, together with and subject to the Rights of Way
created and reserved by Transfer No. 165981.

OTAGO CATCHMENT BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amend-
ments, and in the matter of the Soil Conservation and Rivers
Control Act 1941 and its amendments, notice is hereby given
that the Otago Catchment Board intends to take for river
control purposes, under the provisions of the Public Works
Act 1928 and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act
1941, all that area of land comprised in certificate of title,
Volume 34, folio 125, Otago Registry, being part Section 5,
Block XIII, Inch Clutha Survey District, containing 11 acres
1 rood 8 perches, more or less, the registered proprietor
being Hector Robert Willocks, of Stirling, farmer.
The plan of the said land (O.C.B. No. B3524), is deposited
at the South Division office of the Otago Catchment Board,
Hasborough Place, Balclutha, and is open for inspection by
all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of the said land are hereby required
and called upon to set forth in writing any objections to the
execution of the said public work or the taking of the said
land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of
compensation, and to send such in writing, within forty (40)
days from the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary,
Otago Catchment Board, 725 George Street, Dunedin.
