The King Country Electric Power District Boundary Order 1964

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 15th day June 1964
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 5A of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 (as inserted by section 3 of the Electric Power Boards Amendment Act 1963), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- This order may be cited as the King Country Electric Power District Boundary Order 1964.
- The boundaries of the King Country Electric Power District are hereby altered so as to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, Waimarino County, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the western side of the No. 1 State Highway and a right line between Trig. Stations Ruapehu and 28 (Manukaiapu), being a point on the boundary of the Waimarino County as described in Gazette, 1953, page 536, and proceeding southerly along that side to its intersection by a right line between Trig. Station A (Totem) in Block X, Moawhango Survey District, and Trig. Station Tunutara in Block XII, Kariori Survey District; thence westerly along that right line to the western boundary of the Moawhango Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to the north-western corner of Block I, Moawhango Survey District; thence westerly along the southern boundary of the Ruapehu Survey District to the north-eastern boundary of Raetihi 5A; thence north-westerly along that boundary to and northerly along the western boundary of Block XIII, Ruapehu Survey District, to the north-western corner of that block; thence westerly along the southern boundary of Block XII, Manganui Survey District, to the middle of Makara Road; thence generally south-westerly along the middle of that road to the south-eastern boundary of Section 27, Block XI, Manganui Survey District; thence south-westerly along that boundary, the abutment of a public road, and the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 28 and 31, Block XI, aforesaid, to the southernmost corner of the said Section 31; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Section 31, 30, and 29, Block XI, aforesaid, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to and south-westerly down the middle of the Mangaturuturu Stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 2, Block XI, aforesaid; thence generally northerly to and along that boundary and its production to and along the middle of Mangaturuturu Road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 23, Block XI, aforesaid, to and along that boundary and its production to and up the middle of the Manganuiateao River to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 24, Block XI aforesaid, being a point on the boundary of the Waimarino County, aforesaid; thence generally easterly along that boundary to the point of commencement.
As the said area is shown outlined in yellow on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 638 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Varying a Condition as to Setting Back the Building Line of Portion of a Street Known as Collingwood Street, in the City of Wellington, Imposed by Order in Council Under Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 2nd day of June 1964

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 131 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 29th day of January 1929, published in Gazette, 7 February 1929, Volume I, at page 341, and registered as No. 1444, Wellington Land Registry, authorising the laying off of a street of a width of less than 66 ft but not less than 40 ft, subject to a condition as to the building line, by varying the condition with regard to the building line imposed by the said Order in Council so that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lot 2, D.P. 9345 (C.T. 419/78), within a distance of 25 ft from the centre line of the said street.

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints

Arthur Raymond Harris,
Thomas Eric Husband,
William Felix Goevic Mulligan, and
Roslyn David Sloper
to be the Maronan Domain Board to have control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act as a public reserve.

RESERVE 4890, situated in Block XIII, Westerfield Survey District: Area, 4 acres, more or less. (Shown as Lot 1, D.P. 5495, being part Rural Section 5324).
