Street Closed in the City of New Plymouth

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the street described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of street situated in the City of New Plymouth, Taranaki R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 0 0·3 Lot 1, D.P. 5282, being part Section 925, Town of New Plymouth.
0 0 0·3 Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 5282, being part Sections 925 and 926, Town of New Plymouth.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18549 (S.O. 9607) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of June 1964.

Revoking in Part a Proclamation Setting Apart Land Held for State Housing Purposes “Inter Alia” for Public Schools in the City of Lower Hutt

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 26th day of October 1962, published in Gazette, 1 November 1962, Vol. III, at page 1878, and registered as No. 543432, Wellington Land Registry, setting apart land held for State housing purposes inter alia for public schools, in so far as it affects Lot 82, D.P. 15742.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of June 1964.

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

This order may be cited as the Te Awamutu Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1964.

Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the Te Awamutu Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”) is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines within the area described in the First Schedule hereto.

The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), and (f) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 1985.

The Orders in Council specified in the Second Schedule hereto authorising the licensee to erect and use electric lines are hereby revoked.

The Te Awamutu Electric Power District as defined in the Second Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 15th day of April 1964 and published in the Gazette on the 23rd day of the same month at page 690.

Authorising Kelvyn John Sarginson, of Mount Aurum Station, Queenstown, Farmer, to Use Water for the Purpose of Generating Electricity

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby grants to Kelvyn John Sarginson, of Mount Aurum Station, Queenstown, farmer (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), a licence, subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to take and use from Skippers Creek (hereinafter referred to as the said stream), situated in Run Nos. 13, 15, and 16, in the Polnoon and Skippers Creek Survey Districts in the County of Lake, for the purpose hereinafter set forth, a stream of water not exceeding 3 cu. ft. per second at any one time.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Water Power Regulations 1934 and the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence is issued under the Water Power Regulations 1934, and is subject thereto, and to the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and to all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
UTILISATION OF WATER AND LOCATION OF HEADWORKS
- Water shall be used under this licence solely for the purpose of generating electricity and shall be taken from the said stream at a point in Run 13, Skippers Creek Survey District, indicated on the plans marked N.Z.E.D. 630 and 632 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORKS
- The licensee is hereby authorised, subject to the conditions hereof, to construct, maintain, and use the following works for the purpose of the licence, the positions of the said works being indicated on the said plans:
(a) Headworks consisting of a dam and intake with a pipeline leading to the powerhouse, hereinafter referred to, giving a static head of 98 ft.
(b) A pelton wheel and powerhouse with all necessary equipment for generating electricity situated in Run 13, Skippers Creek Survey District.
(c) A pipeline leading from the said powerhouse back to the said stream.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
- The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (d) and (e) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1985.
RENTAL
- For the purpose of assessing the rental or annual sum payable in respect of this licence, the present plant is rated at 5 kW.
NO RIGHT TO WATER CONFERRED
- Nothing in this licence shall of itself confer upon the licensee any right to water.
