HAWKE'S BAY COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Inviting Proposals for the Hawke's Bay County District Scheme
(Pakaututu - Te Haroto Section)
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Hawke's Bay County
Council, at its meeting held on the 13th day of April 1964,
has resolved to prepare for the Pakaututu -Te Haroto area,
which was recently included in the Hawke's Bay County, a
district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and
Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person concerned and every local authority in the
district as defined by section 2 of the Act, is hereby invited
to submit full information as to the proposals (including
public works) which in his or its opinion should be con-
sidered in the preparation of the Scheme.
Proposals marked "Hawke's Bay County District Scheme
Pakaututu - Te Haroto Section" should be addressed to the
County Clerk and delivered at the County Clerk's Office on or
before the 30th day of September 1964.

CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Changes to the City of Christchurch Operative District Scheme
Section One (Zoning)
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned
changes to the district scheme under the Town and Country
Planning Act 1953, for the City of Christchurch was approved
by the Council by resolution on the 20th day of May 1964.
The Council has also resolved that the under-mentioned change
to the district scheme shall come into operation on the 21st
day of May 1964.
Copies of the scheme change as approved have been
deposited in the Council offices, 194 Manchester Street, and
in the public library serving the district and may be inspected,
without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when
these places are open to the public.

CITY OF LOWER HUTT
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme
under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the
City of Lower Hutt, was approved by the council by resolu-
tion passed at its meeting held on the 25th day of May 1964,
after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the
scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been
amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed
and all amendments of the district scheme required by the
Board had been incorporated.
The council has also resolved that the scheme shall come
into operation on the 15th day of June 1964.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in
the Council's office and will be deposited in every public
library in the district, and may be inspected, without fee, by
any person who so requires at any time when those places
are open to the public, on or after the 15th day of June 1964.

MOUNT WELLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Public Notification of Changes of Mount Wellington District
Scheme
PUBLIC notification is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolu-
tion of the Mount Wellington Borough Council changes of the
Mount Wellington District Scheme have been recommended for
approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
The changes relate to the areas and matters set forth in the
Schedule to this notice. A plan showing the change of the
scheme has been deposited at the office of the District Land
Registrar, Auckland, the Auckland Regional Planning
Authority, 26 Princes Street, Auckland, and the Mount Welling-
ton Borough Council, Panmure, in accordance with section
22 (1) of the Act and are there open for inspection, without
fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the
above places are open to the public.
Objections to the changes of the scheme or to any part
thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First
Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960,
and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time
not later than the 13th day of July 1964. At a later date every
objection will be open for public inspection and any person
who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled
to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town
Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will
be given.

PAPATOETOE BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, regulation 32 (8), notice is hereby given that, Messrs
W. H. Tongue and Son Ltd. having applied under section 35
of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for a specified
departure from the provisions of the Papatoetoe Borough
Council Operative District Scheme and having met the re-
quirements of the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, and having regard to the fact that although three
objections were received none of the objectors wished to be
heard by the Board and the Papatoetoe Borough Council
supported the application, the Town and Country Planning
Appeal Board has consented to a specified departure from
the provisions of the Papatoetoe Borough Council's Operative
District Scheme by permitting the applicant company to erect
a funeral directors parlour and mortuary comprising offices,
a chapel, florists shop, and mortuary, and also to move and
convert the existing residential building into two flats to be
situate at the rear of the site, notwithstanding that the land
the subject of this application and described in the Schedule
hereto is, and shall remain, zoned Commercial B and subject
to the following conditions:
- That the proposal conform with the plans and drawings
submitted by the applicant as amended in respect of the
direction of traffic flow. - That the scheme be further submitted for approval in
conjunction with an application for a building permit. - That all yards and accessways be surfaced in permanent
materials and provided with adequate means of stormwater
disposal. - That the accessways be clearly sign-posted to the satisfac-
tion of the Borough Engineer with a view to facilitating the use
by the public of the off-street car parking to be provided. - That the total access width on the northern side of the
building be not less than 18 ft.
SCHEDULE
ALL that land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 428,
folio 122 (Auckland Registry), and known as No. 204 Great
South Road.
Copies of this consent have been deposited in the Council's
office, the Papatoetoe Public Library, and the Papatoetoe
Mobile Library, and may be inspected, without fee, by any
person who so requires at any time when these places are
open to the public.
