ELTHAM COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Staff Housing Loan 1964, £4,500

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Eltham
County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £4,500 authorised to be raised by the
Eltham County Council, under the above-mentioned Act for
the purpose of purchasing land and existing house or
purchasing land and erecting a house thereon for council
staff, the said County Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of decimal nought three seven eight
nought six pence (0·037806d.) in the pound on the basis of
the unimproved value upon all rateable property of the
County of Eltham; and that such special rate shall be an an-
nual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of April on each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25
years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”

PAHIATUA BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Departure From Operative District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of
the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, and its amendments,
and of the regulations made thereunder, that the Town and
Country Planning Appeal Board, by order dated 24 March
1964, gave consent to an application made by Sydney Ivan
Daken for a specified departure from the provisions of the
Pahiatua Borough Council’s Operative District Scheme by
permitting the applicant to use the land described in the
Schedule hereto for the purposes defined under Industrial C
in the Council’s code of ordinances notwithstanding that the
land is and shall remain rural.

SCHEDULE

ALL those pieces of land containing approximately one acre
three roods (1 a. 3 r.), more or less, being Lots 110 and 111,
and part of Lots 106 and 107, on Deposited Plan No. 303,
being part of Section 26 of Block VIII, Mangahao Survey
District, and being all of the land comprised and described in
certificate of title, Volume 59, folio 248, and part of the
land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume
231, folio 207, Wellington Registry.

PAHIATUA BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Departure From Operative District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of
the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, and its amend-
ments, and of the regulations made thereunder, that the
Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, by order dated
24 March 1964, gave consent to an application made by
Winifred Maude Carrington for a specified departure from
the provisions of the Pahiatua Borough Council’s Operative
District Scheme by permitting the applicant to use the land
described in the Schedule hereto for residential purposes
notwithstanding that the land is and shall remain zoned
Industrial A.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated at 12 Tui Street, in the
Borough of Pahiatua, containing thirty nine decimal eight
eight perches (39·88 p.), more or less, being part Lot 2,
Deposited Plan No. 13885, and being part Section 16, Block
VIII, Mangahao Survey District, and being all of the land
comprised and described in certificate of title Volume 654,
folio 59, Wellington Registry.

MOUNT ALBERT BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

District Scheme Changes Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the changes to the
district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act
1953, as scheduled below, were approved by the Council by
resolution passed at its meeting held on the 12th day of May
1964 after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating
to the changes to the scheme had been disposed of, and the
changes to the scheme had been amended, to give effect to all
objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the
district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.
The Council also resolved that the changes to the scheme
shall come into operation on the 1st day of June 1964.
Copies of the changes as approved have been deposited
in the Council’s office and may be inspected without fee by
any person who so requires at any time when the office is
open to the public.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Amendments to Parts of Palmerston North District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the Council made on 16 December 1963, parts of the
district scheme as already operative are to be amended,
and the Council has recommended for approval these amend-
ments under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
A plan of these amendments, as recommended by the
Council, has been deposited at the Municipal Library, Fitz-
herbert Avenue; the Roslyn Library, Andrew Avenue; the
Hokowhitu Library, Ascot Street; the Takaro Library,
Botanical Road; and the Municipal Chambers, the Square,
and is there open for inspection by all persons interested
therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are
open to the public.
Objections to the recommended amendments to the district
scheme which the Council proposes to approve may be made
by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First
Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, or to the like effect, marked “Objection to District
Scheme” and lodged at the office of the Council at any time
not later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 27 May 1964.
At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose
any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the
hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing
within a period of which public notice will be given.

HIKURANGI TOWN COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change to the Town District of Hikurangi Operative District
Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960,
public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned change
to the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning
Act 1953, for the Town District of Hikurangi, was approved
by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on
the 5th day of May 1964. The Council has resolved that the
under-mentioned change to the operative district scheme
shall come into operation on the 14th day of May 1964.
Copies of the scheme change as approved have been
deposited in the Council’s office and may be inspected without
fee by any person who so requires at any time when this
place is open to the public.

SCHEDULE

Map Amendment No. 1: Zoning (Industrial A to Residential
A).
