A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a recreation ground; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of May 1964.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods 26·9 perches situated in Block VI, Portobello Survey District, Otago R.D., being part Sections 1 and 2, being also Holyrood and Abbotsford Place shown on D.P. 10; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18353 (S.O. 13467) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of April 1964.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae and meeting house reserve.
