RANGIORA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Office Extension Loan 1964, £8,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of paying the annual charges on a loan of £8,000 being the Office Extension Loan 1964, of £8,000, authorised to be raised by the Rangiora Borough Council under the above Act for the purpose of extending and altering the Council offices, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two three nine pence (0·239d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Rangiora; and that such special rate be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is paid off.”

EYRE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Eyre County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-one thousand (£21,000) authorised to be raised by the Eyre County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a sewerage scheme in the Riseley sewerage area of the Eyre County, the Eyre County Council hereby makes a special rate of 6·3125 pence in the pound upon the rateable property in the Riseley sewerage area of the Eyre County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WESTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Westland County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £15,000 authorised to be raised by the Westland County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing electrical reticulation in the Franz Josef District, the said Westland County Council hereby makes a special rate of one shilling in the pound (£) upon the unimproved value of all property of the Franz Josef special rating area; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on 21 May and 21 November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

THAMES BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF HOUSING

Notice is hereby given that the Thames Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and pursuant to the powers contained in section 327 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 it thereunto enabling, to take for housing purposes all that piece of land known as “Unity Hall” containing 9·09 perches, more or less, being part of the land on Deposited Plan 7099 and being part of the block called Kauaeranga No. 8 and being all the land described in certificate of title, Volume 653, folio 275, South Auckland Registry.

Notice is hereby given that a locality plan of the land so required to be taken as aforesaid is deposited in the public office of the said Thames Borough Council situated at Pollen Street, Thames, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during office hours.

All persons affected by the said taking of such land who have well grounded objections to the said taking of such land must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Thames Borough Council at its said office at Thames, i.e., before the 10th day of June 1964.

WHANGAREI BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change of the Borough of Whangarei District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council, made on the 15th day of April 1964, the Council has recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereto.

The changes of the district scheme, as now recommended by the Council, have been deposited in the Town Hall and the public library and are there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objection to the proposed changes of the district scheme may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked “Objection to Scheme Change” and lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 8th day of June 1964. An appropriate form for use by objectors is available from the Town Hall or from the public library.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Council, in writing, within a period of which public notice will be given.

PAPATOETOE BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, regulation 32 (8), notice is hereby given that, the South Auckland Urgent Dispensary Ltd. having applied under section 35 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for a specified departure from the provisions of the Papatoetoe Borough Council’s Operative District Scheme and having met the requirements of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and, having regard to the fact that objections to the application have since been withdrawn, and that the Papatoetoe Borough Council supported the application, the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board has consented to a specified departure from the provisions of the Papatoetoe Borough Council’s Operative District Scheme by permitting the applicant company to use the property situated at No. 4 Great South Road, Papatoetoe, and in the Borough of Papatoetoe, for the purpose of carrying on the business of dispensing and selling all pharmaceuticals and for residential purposes, subject to all the conditions of the Papatoetoe Borough Council’s Code of Ordinances relating to Commercial “A” zoning, except that no front yard shall be required.

Copies of this consent have been deposited in the Council’s office, the Papatoetoe Public Library, and the Papatoetoe Mobile Library, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.
