PAPATOETOE BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, regulation 32 (8), notice is hereby given that, Messrs Dirk Veen and Klaas Vink having applied under section 35 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for a specified departure from the provisions of the Papatoetoe Borough Council’s Operative District Scheme and having met the requirements of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and having regard to the fact that no objections were lodged and the Papatoetoe Borough Council supported the application, the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board has consented to a specified departure from the provisions of the Papatoetoe Borough Council’s Operative District Scheme by permitting the applicants to use their land situated in Sutton Crescent, Papatoetoe, and comprising approximately 33 perches, for access to the adjacent Industrial “B” land and for off-street parking, but subject to the conditions set out below.
(1) That the site be used only for access and car parking.
(2) That the whole site be laid out in permanently surfaced access ways and lawn in such a manner that dust nuisance cannot occur.
(3) That a detailed scheme of development be submitted for approval by the borough engineer and later construction.
(4) No access to the land at the rear be permitted until all works have been completed to the satisfaction of the borough engineer.
Copies of this consent have been deposited in the Council’s office, the Papatoetoe Public Library, and the Papatoetoe Mobile Library, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, regulation 32 (8), notice is hereby given that, the Papatoetoe Borough Council having applied under section 35 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for a specified departure from the provisions of its own operative district scheme and having met the requirements of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and having regard to the fact that no objections were lodged, the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board has consented to a specified departure from the provisions of the Papatoetoe Borough Council’s Operative District Scheme by permitting the Borough to extend the proposed service lane through, to the northern boundary of all that piece of land, situated in the Borough of Papatoetoe, containing 15·3 perches, more or less, being Lot 19, Deposited Plan 26692, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 739, folio 140, together with and subject to rights of way created by transfer 329694, subject to agreement as to fencing contained in the above transfer and subject to memorandum of Mortgage No. 269393.
Copies of this consent have been deposited in the Council’s office, the Papatoetoe Public Library, and the Papatoetoe Mobile Library, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

District Scheme Changes Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the changes to the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, as scheduled below, were approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 24th day of March 1964, after all objections to the changes to the scheme had been heard and disposed of.
The Council has also resolved that the under-mentioned changes to the district scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of May 1964.
Copies of the scheme changes, as approved, have been deposited in the Council’s office, the Papatoetoe Public Library, and the Papatoetoe Mobile Library, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

WOODVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Inviting Proposals for Woodville County District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Woodville County Council, at its meeting held on 10 April 1964, resolved to prepare for the Woodville County a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person concerned and every local authority in the district as defined by section 2 of the Act is hereby invited to submit full information as to the proposals (including public works) which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the scheme.
Proposals marked “Woodville County District Scheme” should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County Office, Vogel Street, Woodville, on or before 17 August 1964.

Amendments to Parts of Palmerston North District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council made on 16 December 1963, parts of the district scheme as already operative are to be amended, and the Council has recommended for approval these amendments under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
A plan of these amendments, as recommended by the Council, has been deposited at the Municipal Library, Fitzherbert Avenue; the Roslyn Library, Andrew Avenue; the Hokowhitu Library, Ascot Street; the Takaro Library, Botanical Road; and the Municipal Chambers, the Square, and is there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the recommended amendments to the district scheme which the Council proposes to approve may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked “Objection to District Scheme” and lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 20 May 1964.
At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL
PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Dargaville, taken on the 4th day of April 1964, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £28,000 to be known as the Filtration Plant Loan 1963 for the purpose of constructing a water-filtration plant resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 371
The number of votes against the proposal was 70
The number of informal votes was 6
I therefore declare the the proposal was carried.
