COUNTY OF KOWAI
RESOLUTION MAKING SECURITY RATE
Worker's Dwelling Loan No. 3, 1964, of £3,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kowai County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,500 authorised to be raised by the Kowai County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing accommodation for staff, the said Kowai County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal zero one four seven eight pence (0·01478d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable property of the County of Kowai comprising the whole of the County of Kowai; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 15th day of May and the 15th day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The foregoing resolution was passed at an ordinary meeting of the Kowai County Council held on 17 April 1964.

WAIPAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE
Fire Station Loan 1964, £10,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and all other powers in that behalf enabling it, the Waipawa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Waipawa Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of erecting a new fire station, the said Waipawa Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal seven five seven pence (0·757d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the Borough of Waipawa; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 35 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.
WAIPAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE
Gas Conversion Loan 1963, £2,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and all other powers in that behalf enabling it, the Waipawa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the principal and interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000 authorised to be raised by the Waipawa Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of converting the municipal buildings and staff houses from gas to electricity supply, the said Waipawa Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal three nought eight eight pence (0·3088d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Waipawa; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.
COUNTY OF HOROWHENUA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act 1956 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments, and the Rural Housing Act 1939 and amendments and regulations thereunder, and all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) authorised to be raised by the Horowhenua County Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Horowhenua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0667 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
in the County of Horowhenua; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Wellington City Hanson Street Flats Loan No. 2, 1963, of £50,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 15th day of April 1964.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifty thousand pounds (£50,000) to be known as the Wellington City Hanson Street Flats Loan No. 2, 1963, of £50,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting multi-storey blocks of flats at Hanson Street, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of twelve one-thousandths of a penny (0·012d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Wellington City Hanson Street Flats Loan No. 3, 1964, of £100,000
The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 15th day of April 1964.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred thousand pounds (£100,000) to be known as the Wellington City Hanson Street Flats Loan No. 3, 1964, of £100,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting multi-storey blocks of flats at Hanson Street, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of thirty-three one-thousandths of a penny (0·033d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
