PURSUANT to section 131 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends
the memorandum of acceptance, dated the 28th day of
February 1956 and deposited in the Land Registry Office at
Dunedin as No. X17439, exempting a portion of Glenpark
Avenue, in the City of Dunedin, from the provisions of
section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, subject to a con-
dition as to the building line, by cancelling the condition as
to the building line imposed by the said memorandum of
acceptance in so far as it affects part Lot 1, D.P. 7130, being
part Section 69, Block VI, Town Survey District, being all
certificate of title, Volume 394, folio 106, Otago Land Registry.

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves
of the resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on
the 1st day of July 1963 and set out in the First Schedule
hereto, in so far as it affects the side of the street described
in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL, being the local authority having
control of the streets in Wellington City, by resolution
declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public
Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the north-eastern side of
Chews Lane.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
THE north-eastern side of all that street, situated in the City
of Wellington, known as Chews Lane, fronting part Lots 1
and 2, Provincial Government Reclamation, Lots 18 and 19,
D.P. 331, of other reclaimed land, and closed roadway; as
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 18196 deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby (a) declares the piece of
road described in the Schedule hereto to be a Government
road and (b) stops the said road.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of road situated in Auckland R.D., described
as follows:

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1961,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.
ORDER
- On and from the 1st day of April 1964, the area de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the
County of Masterton and included in the Borough of
Masterton. - The alteration of the boundaries of the said county and
the said borough hereinbefore made shall be deemed to
have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, County of
Masterton, containing 160 acres, more or less, bounded by a
line commencing at a point on the north-eastern side of
Manaia Road at the southern corner of Lot 10, D.P. 16449,
being a point on the boundary of the Borough of Masterton
as described in Gazette, 1951, page 235, and proceeding
south-westerly along the production of the south-eastern
boundary of the said Lot 10 to the south-western side of
the said Manaia Road; thence north-westerly along that
side and a right line to and along the south-western side
of South Belt and its production to a point in line with the
southern side of No. 2 National State Highway (Pokeno-
Wellington via Gisborne); thence westerly to and along
that side to a point in line with the eastern boundary of
Lot 1, D.P. 16768; thence northerly generally to and along
that boundary, the southern and eastern boundaries of Lot 1,
D.P. 16071, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary
to the north-western side of Railway Road; thence north-
easterly along that side to and north-westerly along the
south-western side of West Bush Road to a point in line
with the north-western side of Railway Road; thence north-
easterly to the intersection of that side with the north-
eastern side of the said West Bush Road being a point
on the aforesaid boundary of the Borough of Masterton;
thence south-easterly generally along that boundary to the
point of commencement.
