TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Changes of County of Taranaki District Scheme (Combined Area Section) Approved

Pursuant to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the changes of the above scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act for the County of Taranaki (combined area section) relating to the areas and matters set forth in the Schedule to this notice were approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 10th day of March 1964 after all objections relating to the changes had been disposed of and the changes to the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections allowed, there being no appeals lodged in respect of any objection allowed or disallowed.

The Council has also resolved that the changes to the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of April 1964.

A copy of the changes of the scheme, and the scheme itself, as amended by the changes, has been deposited in the Council's office and may be inspected without fee by any person who so requires at any time when the office is open to the public.

HIKURANGI TOWN DISTRICT

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Hikurangi Town Council made on the 3rd day of March 1964, the Council has recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in respect of “Map Amendment No. 1: Rezoning Industrial A to Residential A.”

The above change of the district scheme as now recommended by the Council has been deposited in the Council’s office and is there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, at any time when the above place is open to the public.

Objection to the proposed change of the district scheme may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect marked “objection to Scheme Change” and lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than Friday, the 17th day of April 1964.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objectors if he notifies the Council, in writing, within a period of which public notice will be given.

MINING ACT 1926

Notice is hereby given that Alan James Cox and party have applied to the Warden of the Otago Mining District at Cromwell to alter the course of Water Race Licence 2593 to commence as previously in Winter Creek and picking up branch as heretofore, then dropping down Stratford Creek, using bed of creek as a channel, to intake of Licence 1863, thence flowing in Licence 1863 and its branches. The said application will be heard at the Warden’s Court, Cromwell, at 10 a.m., on Wednesday the 8th day of April 1964. Objections must be filed in the Registrar’s Office and notified to applicant at least three days before the time so appointed.

MINING ACT 1926

Notice is hereby given that by application No. 8/1964, Ernest Wilfred Hayman has applied to the Warden of the Otago Mining District at Cromwell for a licence to divert 2 heads of water from the Tuapeka River by a race commencing approximately 1½ miles above the confluence of the said river with the Clutha River for irrigation and stock purposes. The said application will be heard at the Warden’s Court, Cromwell, at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, 15 April 1964.

Objections must be filed in the Registrar’s Office and notified to applicant at least three days before the time so appointed.
