MANAWATU CATCHMENT BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR PURPOSE OF SOIL
CONSERVATION AND RIVER CONTROL
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments and in the matter of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 and its amendments, notice is hereby given that the Manawatu Catchment Board intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, those pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of soil conservation and river control as provided by the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, including the erection and maintaining of stopbanks on either side of the Manawatu and Oroua Rivers and the control of berm lands between the same and the maintenance and protection of existing works.
The plan of the said land is deposited at the public office of the Manawatu Catchment Board, 541 Ruahine Street, Palmerston North, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land and to send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary, Manawatu Catchment Board, 541 Ruahine Street, Palmerston North.

Six acres 1 rood 17·2 perches situate in Block IV, Mount Robinson Survey District, and being part of Lower Aorangi 3a No. 2B No. 6 (subject to right of road created by Order of Court 3321) and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 228, folio 233; shown coloured blue on S.O. Plan 25751.
One acre 1 rood 25·2 perches situate in Block IV, Mount Robinson Survey District, and being part of Lower Aorangi 3G No. 2B No. 6 (subject to right of road created by Order of Court 3321) and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 228, folio 233; shown coloured orange on S.O. TAIERI COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, the Health Act 1956, and the Counties Act 1956, notice is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Taieri (hereinafter called "the said County") propose, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and in pursuance of a requisition by the Board of Health, to execute near Fairfield a certain public work, namely, the construction of works for the disposal of sewage, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said County, situated at 14 Gordon Road, Mosgiel, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; and notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice (namely, the 13th day of March 1964) to the Clerk of the said County.

That piece of land containing 3 acres 1 rood 15 poles, more or less, being part Section 59, Block VII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 339, folio 3 (Otago Land Registry), the said piece of land being more particularly shown on the plan referred to in the foregoing notice.

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, notice is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Dunedin (hereinafter called "the said Corporation") propose, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, to provide a public transport bus shelter at Forbury Road in the City of Dunedin, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk of the said Corporation situated at the Octagon, Dunedin, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands should, if they have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk of the said Corporation.

THAT piece of land containing 0·4 poles being part of Lot 2, Deposited Plan 4674, being part Section 43, Block VII, Town Survey District, Otago Land District, as the said piece of land is more particularly shown on Survey Office Plan No. 13450, and thereon coloured blue.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CHANGE THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH LAND WAS TAKEN
WHEREAS by a Proclamation published in the Gazette, No. 25, on the 15th day of May 1947, at page 573, the land described in the Schedule to that Proclamation was taken for public offices and vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Napier; and whereas the Napier City Council proposes to set apart part of such land (being the part described in the Schedule hereto) for the purpose of a service lane; notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the proposal and desiring to object thereto should set forth their objections in writing and send the same to the Napier City Council at its offices in Tennyson Street, Napier, within 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CHANGE THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH LAND WAS ACQUIRED
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments, notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposed under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to change the purpose for which the land described in the Schedule hereto was acquired (namely, for the purposes of car sheds in connection with electric tramway) to some other purpose (namely for housing purposes).
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said land is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said City, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours and that all persons affected by the proposed change of purposes should, if they have well grounded objections to the proposed change of purpose, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.
