of Wellington, Exempted From the Provisions of Section
128 of the Public Works Act 1928

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 2nd day
of March 1964
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves
of the resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on
the 6th day of May 1963 and set out in the First Schedule
hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street
described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Wellington City Council, being the local authority having
control of the streets in Wellington City, by resolution declares
that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act
1928 shall not apply to the northern side of the portion of
Bosworth Terrace adjoining part Section 363, Town of
Wellington, being all (or part) of the land in certificate of
title. Volume 41, folio 299, Wellington Registry, as is more
particularly shown on the plan annexed hereto.

SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
THE northern side of all that portion of street situated in the
City of Wellington, known as Bosworth Terrace, fronting part
Section 363, Town of Wellington; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18197
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured red.

Portion of the Eastern Side of Tarbert Street and Portion of
the Eastern and Western Sides of McDonald Street in the
Borough of Alexandra Exempted from the Provisions of
Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves
of the resolution passed by the Alexandra Borough Council
on the 14th day of October 1963, and set out in the First
Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the sides and portions
of the streets described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
THAT the Alexandra Borough Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in Alexandra, by resolution
declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public
Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the east side of Tarbert
Street and the west side of McDonald Street fronting subdivision of Sections 9, 10, and part Section 8, Block XV, com-
prised in certificates of title, Volume 63, folio 87, Volume
119, folio 221, and Volume 178, folio 237, also east side of
portion of McDonald Street fronting subdivision of Sections
4, 5, 6, and part Section 7, Block XXVIII, comprised in
certificates of title, Volume 131, folio 45, Volume 130, folio
223, Volume 391, folio 178, and Volume 329, folio 44,
without provision as to building-line restriction.

SECOND SCHEDULE
THE eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the
Borough of Alexandra, Otago Land District, known as
Tarbert Street, and the western side of all that portion of
street situated in the said Borough of Alexandra, known as
McDonald Street, both fronting Sections 9 and 10 and part
Section 8, Block XV, Town of Alexandra, being all the
land comprised in certificates of title, Volume 63, folio 87,
Volume 119, folio 221, and Volume 178, folio 237, Otago
Land Registry.
The eastern side of the said McDonald Street, fronting
Sections 4, 5, and 6 and part Section 7, Block XXVIII, Town
of Alexandra, being all the land comprised in certificates of
title, Volume 131, folio 45, Volume 130, folio 223, Volume
391, folio 178, and Volume 329, folio 44, Otago Land Registry.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 18238 deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The Kaitaia College Board of Governors Order 1964

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 9th day
of March 1964
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as
amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act
1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Kataia College Board
    of Governors Order 1964.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
    June 1964.
  2. The constitution of the Board of Governors of Kaitaia
    College prescribed by the Kaitai College Board of Governors
    Order 1954,* is hereby varied so that, notwithstanding anything
    to the contrary in section 90 of the Education Act 1914, the
    school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education
    Board:
    (b) Three members elected by the parents of pupils
    attending the school being parents who reside within
    the Borough of Kaitaia:
    (c) Four members elected by the parents of pupils attending the school being parents who reside outside the
    Borough of Kaitaia:
    (d) One member elected by the members of the school
    committees of the Awanui, Kaingaroa, Kaitaia,
    Peria, Takahue, Victoria Valley, and Waiharara
    public schools, and Ahipara, Oturu, Pamapuria,
    Paparore, and Pukepoto Maori schools:
    (e) One member co-opted by the Board itself if and when
    it thinks fit.
  3. The Minister may from time to time, by notice in the
    Gazette, amend the list of school districts to which para-
    graph (d) of clause 2 of this order applies.
  4. The Kaitaia College Board of Governors Order 1954
    is hereby revoked.

The Tamaki College Board of Governors Order 1964

makes the following order.

    Board of Governors Order 1964.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
    June 1964.
  2. The constitution of the Board of Governors of Tamaki
    College, prescribed by the Tamaki College Board of Governors Order 1961,* is hereby varied so that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in section 90 of the Education Act 1914, the school shall be controlled by a Board of
    Governors constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education
    Board:
    (b) Five members elected by the parents of the pupils
    attending the school:
    (c) One member appointed by the Mount Wellington
    Borough Council:
    (d) One member appointed by the Mount Wellington Industrial Progress Association (Inc.):
    (e) One member appointed by an electing committee
    representing associations of employees in local industries, which committee shall be convened in such manner as the Board may from time to time determine:
    (f) One member co-opted by the Board itself, if and when
    it thinks fit.
  3. The Tamaki College Board of Governors Order 1961
    is hereby revoked.
