NOTICE OF REGISTRATION OF ORDER AND MINUTE

PURSUANT to section 78 (3) of the Companies Act 1955, notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 7th day of February 1964 confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £14,000 to £2,254, and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 17th day of February 1964. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“The capital of W. A. Polson Limited is £2,254 divided into 3000 6% cumulative participating preference shares of 4s. each fully paid up and 8,270 ordinary shares of 4s. each fully paid up having been reduced from £14,000 divided into 3,000 6% cumulative participating preference shares of £1 each fully paid up and 11,000 ordinary shares of £1 each of which 8,270 shares were fully paid up and 2,730 shares were not paid up.”

CITY OF ROTORUA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

The Rotorua City Council Stormwater Drainage Loan 1963, £51,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifty-one thousand pounds (£51,000), to be known as the Rotorua City Council Stormwater Drainage Loan 1963 of Fifty-one Thousand Pounds (£51,000), authorised to be raised by the Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing storm-water drains in the Springfield Road and Miller Street areas and forming kerbing and channelling and sealing Springfield and Tihi Roads, the Rotorua City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one one two pence (·112d.) in the £ on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Rotorua; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Rotorua City Council held on Tuesday, 18 February 1964.

OTOROHANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Kawhia North Riding Road and Bridges Loan 1963, £18,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £18,000 authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of finding Council’s share of the cost of renewing bridges and reconstructing and sealing the Harbour Road within the Kawhia North Riding of the County of Otorohanga, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes a special rate of three and one-eighth pence (3¼d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Kawhia North Riding of the County of Otorohanga, excluding the Kawhia County Town District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 12 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridges Loan 1963, £50,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000 authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of finding Council’s share of the cost of renewing bridges on roads within the County of Otorohanga, excluding the Kawhia North Riding the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes a special rate of five sixteenths pence (5/16d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Otorohanga, excluding the Kawhia North Riding; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

GISBORNE HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Gisborne Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-three thousand six hundred pounds authorised to be raised by the Gisborne Harbour Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying the balance of the Harbour Improvement Loan 1953, £90,000, First Part Issue £30,000 due on 1 February 1964, the said Gisborne Harbour Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one nought nine three of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Gisborne Harbour District as defined by the Gisborne Harbour Board Empowering Act 1952; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed by the Gisborne Harbour Board at a special meeting held at the Board’s office, Read’s Quay, Gisborne, on 3 February 1964.
