CAMBRIDGE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Cambridge Borough Council Plant Loan 1963, £12,000
THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Cambridge Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £12,000 authorised to be raised by the Cambridge Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing plant, the said Cambridge Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal three pence (0·3d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Cambridge; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of eight years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Cambridge Borough Council at a properly convened meeting held on 18 December 1963.

WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimea County Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of twenty thousand pounds (£20,000) authorised to be raised by the Waimea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting and renewing bridges, the Waimea County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one twenty-seventh of one penny (1/27d.) in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property in the County of Waimea; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Waimea County Council held on the 13th day of December 1963.

ELLESMERE COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Lincoln Sewerage Loan 1963, £35,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ellesmere County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £35,000 authorised to be raised by the Ellesmere County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a public sewerage scheme in Lincoln Township, the said Ellesmere County Council hereby makes a special rate of 2¼d. in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the Lincoln sewerage and drainage area; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 15th day of August and the 15th day of February in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Elderly Persons Housing Loan No. 2, 1963, of £6,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £6,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for aged persons, the Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0036d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on Monday, 16 December 1963.

HOWICK BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
Roading Loan £85,000, 1963
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Howick Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of £85,000 authorised to be raised by the Howick Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reconstructing streets and providing stormwater drainage at the intersection of Pah Road, Churchill Road, and Shelly Beach Parade, the said Howick Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal six five one pence in the pound (0·651d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Howick comprising the whole of the Borough of Howick; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of October and the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, for a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TARARUA ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tararua Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £11,000 (to be known as Housing Loan 1963) authorised to be raised by the Tararua Electric-power Board in New Zealand by “Special Order” under the above-mentioned Act and of all other Acts and authorities it thereunto enabling for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting thereon staff houses, the said Tararua Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 13/250ths (thirteen two hundred and fiftieths) of a penny in the £ upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all the rateable property in the Tararua Electric-power District as defined in the Gazette, No. 31, of the 22nd day of May 1958, at pages 652 and 653; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct extract from the minutes of a meeting of the Tararua Electric-power Board held on the 20th day of December 1963.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tararua Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £8,600 (to be known as Redemption Loan 1963) authorised to be raised by the Tararua Electric-power Board in New Zealand by “Consent” under the above-mentioned Act and of all other Acts and authorities it thereunto enabling for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Housing Loan 1963 of £12,000 which matures on the 1st day of March 1964, the said Tararua Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 63/1000ths (point one six three) of a penny in the £ upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all the rateable property in the Tararua Electric-power District as defined in the Gazette, No. 31, of the 22nd day of May 1958, at pages 652 and 653; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct extract from the minutes of a meeting of the Tararua Electric-power Board held on the 20th day of December 1963.
